NolanPinlock disc for N43/N43 E

It does not say in the description that it is without silicone seal. My Helmet came originally with this kind of insert. Bogotto-de stated “this is what you bought” but actually it is not what I meant to buy. Having the original one with silicone seal, you will expect same one if it is “Inner helmet shield for N43/N43 Trilogy”. Company staff was not eager to help with any exchange. I needed a new one badly, because of winter weather and my old has a broken seal, so we did agree I give a shot and make a review after few weeks. Here are my observations.- The shape of shield makes an air pockets in the vision are.- Insert, fresh installed, looks tight and sealed, it is still so as for today- My daily commute is ca.50-70 minutes, 80% in the city (traffic, red lights ..)- In dry weather, temp. 0C, quite OK, a bit of fog in the nose area, you can ride with it and I’m taking only about the insert- In wet weather and temperatures below +5C it starts to be uncomfortable- The fog builds up in the nose area and it changes to 5/6 cm dia condensation spot, if you try to ride in half open shield it is impossible because you got it in front of your eyes. After that it is continuing to build up in the top of the shield.- Now we getting to the part of why I think it is happening, the lack of silicone seal makes the border of the insert around stick to the shield with no air pocket/insulation.I give a 3 because of not perfect solution (shame NOLAN), and missing description (even after my discussion with Bogotto, that it will be a courtesy to add “no silicone seal”, the also confirmed both style of insert exist)If you can go and get one with silicone seal, you will see the difference.Keep on riding and … shiny side up
