Harrison's Bird Foods Adult Lifetime Sup Fine 1lb Certified Organic NonGMO Formula

On a friend's recommendation, I have been using Harrisons Super Fine Birdfood for several years now. I started them off with the high-potency variety for the first six months or so and then switched to the regular. They easily switched from a seed mix to Harrisons. This food satisfies them so well that they are rarely interested in anything else I offer them - except for millet sprays as an occasional treat. I love that it is so nutritious for them, and has kept them healthy and strong. Their feathers remain brightly colored, their eyes are clear. This feed is great. According to the Amazon count, I have purchased this product 43 times, and many of those sales are for more than one bag. I think that says it all. My only frustration is how frustrating the delivery of this product from Amazon is. If I order it several weeks ahead of time, I fully expect that to be sufficient lead time on a simple product. My birds don't stop needing food. I wish the vendor would get their act together.

My doves refused to eat this food for months after I started, putting it in their dishes, along with their other food. I had almost given up on this food altogether even though the recipe is so great and it’s so healthy until I had the idea to put the food in their snack dishes to fool them into thinking it was something good. This actually worked and they’re now eating it!

I have given my parrots Harrison pellets for years. Often in combination with bites of apple. Then it's easier for the birds to swallow the pellets. If I don't give them bites of apple, they end up with dipping the pellets in their water bowl instead..

I use a combination of the lifetime and high potency for my pale-headed rosella and she likes both!

These pellets were great! My budgies really like them, and I mix these in with their other pellets for variety. They are a good size for small birds, too. My only complaint is that they are way too expensive for only 1lb. For my ten birds, if I only fed them this, then it would last around a week or less. Including shipping, (there was no option for free shipping) this 1lb of bird food was $20. I have seen other reviews where people have said that they have found this food at their pet store for cheaper, but sadly, Harrison’s bird food isn’t sold at my local pet stores, so I am only able to buy this expensive food on amazon, so because if the expensive price, I am unable to buy very much of this bird food. The price seems to be raising around every year or so, and if the price rises even more to where I need to spend around $100+ a month on bird food, then there’s a definite chance that I will not be purchasing this bird food again.

Though this product is a bit pricey, I feel it's worth it. To help my bird convert to this, I wound up grinding it up with a mortar and pestle so there's a good bit of fine dust, but also still some chunks. I started mixing it in with her Bird Street Bistro/veggie chop so it sticks to the food and she has to ingest some of it. I started mixing ground up pellets in her seed, and this morning I finally caught her eating pellets out of her regular food dish! These pellets have no artificial colors or ingredients like other pellets, so that alone makes it worth the purchase.

Came as advertise, but my birds won’t eat it I have to mix it in with regular food (kaytee) hopefully slowly they will adjust to it.

ずっとこれです。少々お高いですが、かたさ粒の大きさ食いつき何より鳥さんにとって栄養満点(太る意味ではなく) 人間の食費を削ってでもこれは欠かせません。

文鳥さんにはミルで挽いてあげないと粒が大きくて食べられません。文鳥にちょうどいい大きさの粒のがあればいいんですけどね。やっぱりシードばかり食べちゃうのでパウダーにして一緒に食べてもらう作戦でいこうかなと。

どのセキセイインコも安定して食べてくれます。

いつも、ハリソンの【アダルトライフタイムスーパーファイン】を買っています。フィンチの口には小さい粒じゃないと困るので選んで買っていますが、今回分は粒が大きくて買い間違えたかと思ったくらい。うちの子はハリソンじゃないと食べてくれないので、今後この大きさは困ります。食べてくれますが、大きいのでクチバシからこぼれて食べにくそうにしています。仕方がないので、少し潰してあげるようにしますが、仕様が変わってしまったのでしょうか？
