Buy some extra copies and give them to family and friends that are struggling with obesity. It may reduce their morbidity (Diabetes, hypertension, heart failure , kidney disease, arthritis, sleep apnea, etc) and mortality (death), often caused prematurely by conditions that could be prevented! We lost my mom and other family members prematurely from heart attacks and strokes. I see my patients who are faced with obesity, diabetes and hypertension. They saw me lose 100 lbs and keep it off!! Worth the Read!!
So Far I’m half way through is book, I originally brought her 10 day detox book, years ago. And her plan actually worked I had started to lose weight, 50lbs altogether really. But then Somethings happen in my life and I went backwards gaining the 59lbs I lose and more. And after that it just seemed I no longer had the “WILL POWER” to do the detoxing again. I didn’t realize back then she had many more books, so I figured I buy one and read. This book had helped me dig deep into my issues, something I have started doing since being home during the pandemic. I was already in the process of trying to heal and dealing with past things that still affect me today. But this book definitely help me deserve some feeling I didn’t think I was having, she inspired me to get back to my love of writing. Writing for me is therapeutic it allows me to get all of my thoughts out and map things out. Anyways the book is not only about losing weight but about the feeling s that may be associated with why your gaining weight or not losing weight, also if you may have other health issues. But this book is for people who are suffering with emotional eating basically. So if it sounds like you then I would recommended reading, I always thought of myself as an emotional eater, so for me at first I was like “I know this, how does this help” but trust I kept reading and discovered it was so much deeper than just eating when your happy or sad. I’m not done reading but so far I have been able to start her detoxing again, And I haven’t had to struggle with temptations as hard as I use to. I actually am enjoying making better decisions when it comes to changing my lifestyle, because this is not a diet. And I’m down 10lbs which is a plus!! If you’re tired and ready to not just lose weight but to face the inner emotions you’re hiding, this book is worth the read. Will Power and consistency is the only way you can make a real change.

This Book Will Change Your Life!!
This book is nothing short of AMAZING!! As one who has been on diet plan, after diet plan, only to find myself at the point at which I began with all the pounds I started with along with a few more, it is absolutely refreshing to read an account that gets right to the heart of the weight loss battle...MY MIND!!! I had the honor of receiving an advanced copy of this amazing book and then purchased one to bless someone else with because it was just too good to keep to myself. Each chapter provides a deep look into the real see saw issues of those on the weight loss journey. JJ gets to the heart of the matter and challenges readers to pay attention to reason why they over eat and why they are over weight in an honest and transparent manner. She shares personal stories and real life scenarios that hit hard. You'll laugh til your sides hurt and even shed a few tears along the way. Now my favorite is Chapter 12! Whew. JJ dives into the deep and even posits that our weight issue is really a spiritual matter!! Wow!! Oh boy, did that hit home for me. That particular chapter challenges readers to tap into their spiritual selves regardless of religious beliefs, so in essence, there is an entry point for everyone.In my opinion, if you have struggled with your weight and have been on the merry go round of dieting, I believe this book is a blueprint to finding your way to the finish line. Right now, I putting Chapter 13 to the test and embarking on the Mental Mastery Challenge along with thousands of other folks in JJ's Green Smoothie online facebook group. I find the support to be the best that I've ever had. I have met so many amazing ladies on the journey and I am confident that I will finally reach my weight goal and maintain for once and for all.

Depends on you
If you are self aware and understand life then this book isn’t going to help you. It is well written and is for an audience who is just starting on their journey of awareness.
