I was hopeful for this one, but like someone else’s review had said- it had no shape. It’s not as “slim tailored” looking as the photos (I’m sure it’s not the same company that actually owns/designed the clothing in the images). It’s much more wide and boxy. It instantly reminded me of a doctors lab coat or a hospital gown (especially due to the type of fabric).The fabric isn’t bad. It’s “like” a seersucker material, but not quite. It’s the right amount of sheer to be considered a cover up by providing coverage while also not being paper thin. The buttons aren’t the buttons shown in the image, they are just a simple pearl white button.The length is long, hits about mid-thigh, so definitely covers the bum.I’ll likely return, but if I decide to keep I will cut it into a cropped shirt to wear with denim shorts, yoga pants, or a breezy wide leg pant and it would be cute- I can’t wear it as is, I literally look like a hospital patient lol.For reference: I’m 5’6, 130lbs. I believe it’s a “one size fits all”.

I ordered this top for my trip to Bali. The top is really light weight. I took a star off because in the picture of the cover up looks more worn and faded so it wasn't exactly how I thought it would look. The cleaner look still was okay for me. I wore it as a top with some cutoff shorts and tucked the front it one day and used it as a swimsuit cover up on another day. I'm 5' 5" and usually wear a M top in women. I have an athletic build and broad shoulder so I was uncertain if it was going to fit. It fit really well. It was really cute and I still stayed cool in the hot humid Bali weather. I probably could wear it around as a dress but I usually like to have my dresses a little longer. It still covered my butt really well and was actually longer than my cut-off shorts. I liked the light weight of the fabric and the crochet pattern is cute. I thought it was short for a cover up when I tried this on as it barely covered my rear. The label said it could be hand washed in cold or dry cleaned. I went ahead and hand washed/soaked in cold and stretched and hung to dry. The length shrunk so bad that this is no longer a cover up, but a shirt. For reference I am nearly 5'9" .

I am only 5' 3" - so when something looks long on the model, it's usually really long on me. Not so with this cover up. This item is only going to be considered long if I am wearing as a shirt... which I might do. But as a cover up - no.

While this is a very pretty top, I don't think is should be called a tunic dress as it is very short. I have a little time to ponder if I'd like to keep or return and will be doing just that. It is much sheerer than I expected but since it is a cover that is not a deal breaker...the problem is, it will not cover all it should so I have to decide if I really want another shirt or not. Some of the seams have long hanging threads too and I don't want to cut or pull on them until I know if I will be keeping this or not. Pretty but a bit overpriced for what you are getting.

If i'm being honest at first I thought it gave me labcoat vibes but its super lightweight, versatile, and looks good with a bikini under it. I get tons of compliments on this coverup
