I ordered a 6 slim for my son as he is slender. They length was okay- but I still have to cinch the ajustable waist which is fine as he will grow. Great uniform pants for school. Very thick material- well made- snap button front makes it easy for him to undo and clasp his pants. The thick, stiff material is very durable and also repels grass, mud, food, marker and other little boy stains. The material softens after a couple of washes but the thickness makes them last sooo much longer than dockers, old navy, kohls, or JC Penny uniform pants. I bought 4 pair. No more torn out knees after 2 months of wear and tear and no more marker and grass stains after just the first few wears. I highly recommend these pants for any grubby, little growing boys needing uniform pants to last longer than 1 semester.

Sturdy pants. They wash well and do not shrink in the dryer. Quick pass with the iron easily takes the wrinkles out. The knees have not split yet...

My son wears nothing but these pants all the time they have been washed and worn several times and still look great

Bought this for HS sophmore who wanted to step up from jeans. Inexpensive enough for daily wear, but look reasonably good out of the dryer.

My son wears a boys 12 normally but is getting tall so now I’m buying 14s just for the length. So when buying online I always measure to make sure I’m getting the right size. His measurements on the chart fell under a size 16. I was surprised but figured maybe the pants run small or something. So I ordered the size that was recommended for his Christmas concert. They arrived and were like clown pants. The waist was probably 10 inches too big, the unseen was about 7 inches too long and they were soooooo baggy he looked ridiculous. I should have ordered a 10 or 12. But since I did not have time to order another pair for his concert I did some alterations and he absolutely hated the pants were them one night and then we threw them in the garbage. All this to say do not do not do not use the sizing chart to make your decision.

they have a great fit, use for school uniform every year. Hang dry though. I have used this brand for 9 years.

True to Dickies style. Tough material, great color. Only thing is size is a little weird. Fit in the waist as expected, but were super long, like 5 inches too long. Not just a little long. And my son isn't husky, so not sure where the issue is. Just had to heam them and they fit great.
