To close them you just have to pull the plastic slider in the opposite direction you're pulling the bag in to make it close a bit easier so if your right hand it pulling to the right, pull to the left with your left hand

This is awesome, durable, easy to clean, You have to practice with the plastic slide to close it, but nice and durable.

Love these. So easy to use, and keeps everything sealed tight, even liquids. No deformation going through the dishwasher. Easy to clean, packs nicely and stands up. Are a bit heavy though (for hikes/backpacking I would use something lighter). Overall highly recommend. Love the straws that come with too.

These bags are a great replacement for ziploc bags. They do well in the dishwasher and are the perfect size to hold a sandwich or snacks. I got so many questions about my bags from my colleagues at lunch. The straws are also great if you're trying to cut down on straw usage but still have sensitive teeth.

I opened them up and returned them right away. I have arthritis in my hands. They are heavy so I am sure they were durable.The plastic seals that went across the top I could not work very well and the weight without anything in them was surprisingly heavier than expected. I knew that for me this was something that I would not be able to use and they are too expensive to buy and leave in the cabinet. I am not saying someone else would not like them just that I could not work them.

These are wonderful for leftover food storage. They wash up beautifully and are so easy to store in cabinets. NO more searching for tops and stacking containers.
