EnricoRoot Wood Medium Bowl

Beautiful bowl… using as a fruit bowl on my island. I love it!

Wife loves this bowl and eats many meals from it. well made and no chemicals in the wood.

My intent for this root wood bowl was to use it as a fruit bowl on my kitchen counter, to replace my old one. Unfortunately, this thing is much, much smaller than the specs listed (I measured it when I first received it, and there was a huge discrepancy, both in height and width). I had the same problem with another Enrico bowl I purchased. When I doubt, err on the side of buying larger - my next step will likely be to order the "extra large" bowl. The bowl itself that I received is more like a flat platter, with smaller handles than shown in the picture. The handles are not symmetrical but rather offset from each other, adding to the unique appearance (much different than the picture). In fact, what I received looks completely different than what is pictured, in pretty much every way - shape, height, width, handle size. Would fit maybe 3 medium sized apples, and that's it. I actually liked the "platter" I received, instead of the bowl I expected, because I found another use for it. It is sitting on a plate stand in my library bookcase. It is a piece of art due to its unique and beautiful appearance, but I could not use it for the fruit bowl that I had planned to use it for. Just be aware that each bowl is different and you may get something much smaller than expected, and you may not even get a "bowl" at all.

I purchased this bowl primarily for large holiday dinner salads, but realized on arrival that it was far too eye-catching to "live" in the cabinet most of the year. So it has now has a proud home on my counter, replacing the old fruit bowl.Consistent with other reviewers, my bowl is unique, and differs somewhat from the picture. The external dimensions are actually a wee bit on the large side. But because one end is significantly higher than the other, the total volume it holds is slightly reduced.For me, the unique shape works. The high side adds visual interest...and also functions as a handle. An added bonus, at no additional charge! Very cool!That said, I do understand the expressed frustration of other reviewers, who had a specific use in mind, based on the photo, which the shipped product (or even the replacement) did not meet. I recently had to return a similarly unique (and beautiful!) product, because it simply could not serve its intended purpose, and I had no alternate use for it.Accordingly, those needing more specificity, whether for function or appearance, might want to purchase this item from an online seller who can send a photo of the *actual* bowl they will ship. Or consider a brick-and-mortar store, to touch and handle the piece prior to purchase.

I love this! So sturdy, well made, and arrived securely packaged, wrapped in paper and fit nicely in the box so no movement during transit. I ordered the Small Bowl. I was worried it wouldn't look as 'lively' but it's beautiful with fluid edges, and you can see the beautiful grain. The color is not too light so it fits the look I was going for. Strongly recommend. I'm not sure if I should add a layer or two of mineral oil onto it to better preserve the wood, but I'll figure it out.

If you are looking for a wood bowl, get this!!!! I wanted a teak bowl for these glass hearts on my while marble counter top. I found one, it isn’t shipping for months. I saw this bowl on Amazon and it looks very similar for half the price! I will use this bowl for something else if I love the teak when it comes. This bowl would look beautiful with lemons and or limes in it! Very sturdy also. Shipped in less than 24 hours to me!!

The bowl itself would fit maybe 3 medium sized apples, and that's it. The bowl I happened to receive doesn't really look like a bowl at all, but more like an inverted non-symmetrical cowboy hat. Therefore, I actually liked the bowl itself due to its unique appearance, but I could not use it for the fruit bowl that I had planned to use it for. I found a place on the lower shelf of one of my end tables where it looks very nice. Just be aware that each bowl is different and you may get something much smaller than expected.

Ordered the Large Platter and got the "charger". I will keep it because I like it. Very lightweight and I'm worried it might not be very sturdy. I was looking for something to serve fresh bread on/with.EDIT: Did not keep it because I discovered a $10 price difference. Returned and didn't request the correct item because of the extreme lightweight of the item. Just worried it wouldn't be sturdy enough.

I wasn’t sure what it would be like and I don’t usually right a review but this was exactly what I was looking for. It’s beautiful, perfect size - small. Very organic looking and that’s what I was looking for. Filled it with pretty decorative rattan balls.

Got this for my wife to organize stuff on her vanity. She loved it! Solid wood, nice grain. Would buy again!

Very impressed - it looks exactly as presented - fairly heavy and well crafted. I'm laser engraving it to give to friend and very happy with it overall.
