Good Flow , easy installation
This pump works like a dream. Never clogs , pushes everything thru the filter as advertised.

Excellent pond pump!
This unit is functioning well in my 5000 gallon koi pond. It’s powerful enough to pump water up to the bio-filter and keeps the steam and waterfall flowing. Excellent value for the price!

Good quality, nice price
The pump works great and is about half the price of a comparable pump at the local pond store.

Adequate pump, super quiet, good enough for the price.
This pump was simple to install. Did require me to do some work with the existing 3 inch PVC assembly as this pump has a Female receiver, and my old pump was male connection. The pump says 10,000 Gallons per hour, but it’s definitely not pumping that. It is clearly not pumping as much as my old Tidal wave TT9000 was, and it is at least 25% larger, but surprisingly quiet. It is just enough to power the waterfall adequately and for the price I can’t complain. As for durability, I will follow up on that later. This will run 24/7 365 until it fails.

Great Pump for my Koy Pond
I have a Koy pond of about 1K+ gallons on water and a waterfall. This pump runs the whole thing quite well. It runs 24/7 only being shut off in middle of winter. I expect 3 to 5 years out of this pump (which is what I got from the last one). When it’s time I’ll buy this one again.

Worth!!
Needed a new pump as my current one broke (rattling) and went without a pump for almost a week, but thank you Amazon for quick shipping!! This thing is very heavy with flimsy feeling plastic but I guess if you don't move it much it is ok ? I attached a nylon rope to it for accessibility. The pump has replaced a 500GPH pump and, being new to this, I tried to use the old hoses. YES, I could continue to use my 1" output hose. NO, I could not use my 1" input hose. This in fact caused the pump to get somewhat warm and I turned it off immediately. Ran it as-is till I could go to a pond store with bigger size flex tubes. During this time, the screen had fiberglass screen over it because I could still see some stuff getting through and I have 11 gold fish so it took no time for the screen to get dirty. I had to rinse daily.I ended up getting a 1.5" tube for input and attached it to my Matala prefilter easily. Everything seems to be running fine and water cleared up within a day. I tested my water earlier this week (after 3 weeks) with the API water treatment kit and everything was close to perfect (feint traces of NH4 and NO3) but I can't complain with 11 gold fish. Overall, fish are happy so I am happy. The warranty is decent and I bought an extended warranty for 4 more years (no deductible required) for $18 more. Realistically, that is a steal for me. The pump is running 24/7 in FL where it is in partial shade with a screen over the pond to minimize leaf fall as much as possible.Update: past a year and still going strong. I have not turned this thing off for more than 2 min to swap the Matala prefilters!! Working as day 1 . Will continue to update.Update 9/15/2019: This pump has officially died. I bought this in 02/2017. I was out of the country for 2.5 weeks and my friend was left to feed my fish but couldn't put 2 and 2 together and equate that low water line = trouble. Majority my fault but my Matala prefilter was more than half in the air so I'm convinced the motor burned out because he told me the pond had been low for several days ... Granted the claim there is a heat overload sensor but I don't think it works (or maybe it only works temporarily). Anyways, I just want to let you guys know I had this pump running pretty much 24/7/365 in FL except for major hurricanes where I had to cut the power from my breaker for safety. It had no issues but not sure if the Matala prefilter along with quarterly bacteria dump helped with the longevity? I did not touch this thing at all really.

stopped working at 11 months, horrible customer service
When this worked, it was fine. Strong enough to work on large pond to get water through the UV system. Not noisy. Long cord. Then, 11 months later, I noticed one day it wasn't on. I went to web site of seller and downloaded, printed, filled out, scanned, and emailed back the form the same day as the site instructed me to do. I heard back the same day that my form would be sent to the warranty department. That was 2 weeks ago. At the 10 day point, I emailed and asked how long was this going to take? I have fish and other living beings who need circulation, and now, an algae problem developing. They haven't bothered to reply.I see I am not the only one who has had this experience with this seller and pump.I am forced to buy another pump from another seller now.

Bigger hopefully better
We went with a bigger pump for our pond, our last only lasted three years. We’re hoping because we went with a bigger, hoping it will be more efficient
