I found this book to simply be ok. I don't think I could read it again, though maybe one more time in a few years. To begin, I am very picky when it comes to the fae stories. In my experience the detailing of the world just isn't there enough which leaves it to be a disappointment to me. I found myself finding this series decent because I liked the background of the character and what brought her into the fae realm. Once her brother is taken by the fae she must find a way to get him back, as well as deal with the fact that she is a half fae who is immune to iron.... I liked it but halfway through the series I just wanted to be done. This may sound better to someone who enjoys fairy words but I typically find them all the same.

Brilliant and engaging, well written. I pre read these for my daughter aged 9, who read them all far too quickly and loved the series too.

Some of the covers didn't really match the set, I was expecting them all to be the same not different but it was quite good
