Gave me some good ideas. Did not answer all my technical questions
The only book on topic I could find. Gave me some good ideas. Did not answer all my technical questions. Worth it to me even though less than I had hoped for.

NOT what I was expecting
The book was good for ideas, but not what I was looking for. I wanted more of a "how to" not just pretty pictures! If you're looking for inspiration, this book is fine but you can get images on the Internet for free. I was very disappointed.

Great ideas for building my own fire pit
Great ideas for building my own fire pit. I'm still hoping to build one myself in the next few months.

Disappointing
I purchased this book expecting more in the way of tips, recommendations, and guidelines for constructing a gas fire pit, like things to consider when using propane vs. natural gas. The book was disappointing in that it gave many photos of fire pits, to offer ideas for designing your own, but hone of the technical details I was seeking.

I you looking for a book that shows the steps for building one, this is not the book
I wanted a book that would give me a set of plans on how to build an outdoor fireplace or fire pit. I was disappointed the book was mostly a show case of previous builds and plans. The only set of plans are a couple of pages in the most basic forms of plans with no material list. To make matters worse the book text and photos were not centered on the pages and some of the text cut off at the edges. I wonder if all the books printed contain the same defects. I promptly returned the book.
