Great ball for most weekend golfers!
I'm a solid 7 hdcp (and could be better if I had the time) so these are not really for me. I will state that they work as advertised, I do see these straighten an intended draw or fade. And I notice no real difference between these and my regular gamer (B330) in terms of distance. Not so good greenside and they are too 'hard' to putt But I try for perfection in those areas and most people wouldn't notice the difference. But these are GREAT for they guys I tend to play with - and I've given away at least a dozen now. Here's the situation: I play a lot of golf as a single when I travel. Usually resorts and rather nice courses. It's VERY frustrating to play with a couple of guys that couldn't hit the fairway sober - much less with a beer or two. After the first 4 or 5 holes of helping search for balls in the rough, and it's obvious they are not playing seriously, I'll hand these out and explain that they are 'not USGA legal' but 'will help'. The look on their faces after they hit the fairway the next 6 or 7 holes is priceless. And now I get to spend more time in the fairway playing my game rather than searching for a lost ball. You cannot use these for tournaments or for posting a handicap but for the weekend golfer, it saves a lot of frustration. And I think 85%+ of the people playing golf just want to 'keep up' with the other players or try to stay in the fairway so they don't embarrass themselves. And these balls WILL help. The only time I've seen a Polara get lost was when someone hit it straight out into the rough, (and I assure you, it went straight), or the wind grabbed it and pushed it out of bounds. I honestly think if your average weekend golfer used this ball, a round wouldn't take over 5 hours on a Saturday afternoon. With the 'ball spin' under control, I think most would people would be straighter and longer on their drives. At a minimum, 3 out of 4 in the typical foursome wouldn't be in the rough. If you are struggling with that slice, you should try out a sleeve. Finally; I find that most people after using this ball for several holes will now hit their regular ball better. They build some confidence in their swing and "let it rip" vs. holding back because they fear the OB stakes. Just an observation.

It works.
These things work. I'm not a great golfer but I don't suck either. I could probably tell I have about a 12 handicap, but I cheat on the course (like don't count my mulligans and use balls like this without thinking twice). So I won't tell you I have a handicap and that I usually play somewhere between par and bogey golf depending on the day. With these things and my TM R15, I put the ball on the center fairway almost every time. When I don't use them I usually play a Pro V1 and put it to the right.I do feel that I lose about 10 yards when i play them, but it's better to be ten yards short and in the fairway then in the trees.I only docked a star because they will give you a false confidence. Switching between these and the Pro v1s I would really have to slow myself down mentally to make sure I was setting up right to get a straight shot with a real golf ball

Works!! No fade/slice = greater distance
I played my first round with these and they were great! It corrected the fade/slice in my drives which resulted in about 10 more yards in my drives. Fading or slicing the ball caused me to lose so much distance but hitting straight with these actually gave me more yardage...not as much as I could get from a conventional ball. But, until I can consistently hit a conventional ball straight these keep me in the fairway and therefore give me more distance since there's no fade/slice. It also really improved my second shot.

Everyone should try this ball just once! Not a gimmick... they do work!
These golf balls are amazing! Definitely not for league or tournament play, because they WILL correct a mis-hit. There are no gimmicks, they do work. You can see immediately just by the design of the ball and the dimples how it works. I have watched hits from behind the tee box where the ball starts to slice or hook and the ball corrects itself. You can see the ball start to shimmy as it fights the flow of air over the dimples and stays true. It is obvious, but I am a recreational golfer looking to have fun on the course on Sundays. It's not 100% corrective, you will still some hits that cannot be corrected, but overall it is a great way to help out the Sunday-Funday golfer. The XD is not as forgiving as the Super-Straight Polara, but it does hit further than the standard, so I like this one the best.

Polara Golfs Balls
I do not normally write reviews, but I feel compelled to write about the Polara golf balls. I have a bad slice and have played golf for over 30 years and have not been able correct my slice even with professional lessons. I ordered a sample set of Polara golf balls and was thrilled with the results. I was amazed that the slice was reduced to the point that I was actually on the fairway instead of landing in the right hand trees and/or rough. I tried the various types of the Polara balls, i.e., the Ultimate straight ball XSUS that would correct my slice by 75%; then I used the XDS to get more distance. I found the XDS and XD to be slightly more effective in my goal of staying on the fairway, but also getting more distance. I have gone back and forth using the USXS vs the XDS vs the XD and have decided that the XD is my best choice, compromising between cost and what helps my game the best.I just ordered two dozen more XD balls and am as excited about playing the game of golf as I have been in years.I am not sure I am going to tell my golfing friends about the Polara golf balls. I want them to notice how straight my drives and fairway shots are going before I tell them. We all normally reset our balls on the fairways anyway, since we are far from professional golfers, so they wouldn't even notice me lining up the arrow on the ball to get the straight shot. My short game(100 yards and in) don't require me to adjust the ball. I just hit it as I always have and get the same results I do with other brands. I just love these new balls and had to write this review in the hopes of helping other frustrated golfers that Polara golf balls will surely help your game. I appreciated the reviews that convinced me to buy them, so I hope my review helps others.
