This is one of the many I own from Ochanie lele! But I bought in the kindle version this time and I absolutely LOVE THE KINDLE VERSION ! I own the book as well but the kindle version is way better! I guess when you love a book and its become an essential to youre studying for LIFE daily regimens,you should consider getting both ! so you're never without . I randomly scroll through proverbs on my kindle and at other times when I'm in my yard, I just pick up the book ! Its definately wonderfully written to understand perfectly ,resourceful , and a very powerful book ! Although nothing can be written all in just a book , it definately gives an immense amount of ochanie leles gracious piece of mind by giving a big decent amount of information of odus and proverbs so that you carry it eventually within you ! (Even if its just used for keys) The rest through time and practice will make you a proficient italero. Fyi When speaking of this book its been called the "red book of the diloggun" ( yes, it even has a pet name lol)

This book is full of so much knowledge. Every day I read it I learn more and more. I even bought another copy for my fiancé. I recommend this to all Ifa practitioners.

Author does a great job here teaching about the history of how the Lucumi faith evolved and how hard the slaves in Cuba fought to preserve as much of the Yoruba religion as they could. Painstakingly, they kept building their repertoire of knowledge and practice as new slaves arrived with fresher skill. I have much respect for the ancestors. Everywhere they went, be it in Haiti, Cuba, Brazil, etc... our African ancestors, adapted in order to evolve and preserve the African spirit. Ocha'Nile begins here and delves deep into the Dillogun divination practice. She does not waste words. She lends knowledge quickly and efficiently. This book goes next to Awo Fatunmbi book, by my bedside.

I had the privilege to take diloggun classes with the author, I always recommend this book for those who are seeking to understand their signs in itá or learn in depth about odu.

A book of vast information in learning the Diloggun from beginning to end. Ocha'ni Lele has put an intricate process in an order that any layman can understand and learn. He describes the problems people face, why they have these problems and clear solutions to resolve them. He has put into words the things never articulated or pinpointed with unbelievable insight and precision. He delves into all facets of human behavior modification to bring control and management into the lives of people who are looking for a solution. I found a great understanding of the Orisha, and the religion, patakis, recipies for ebos, prohibitions, complete explanation of each Odu and process of preparing, throwing the cowries and orientations. He beautifully shines light on the Lucumi religion explaining the history, disporia and tradition.

These book was recommended to by my elder and honestly it is amazing if you wish to learn more of odduns i most definitely recommended also helps you develop spiritual side since I have experience it first hand will give you a lot of premonitions in your dreams

Ochan'Ni Lele is brillant in assisting those who wish to gain a deeper understanding of Cuban Santeria. I particularly enjoyed the history and development of Santeria and the major part the Catholic Church played in helping our ancestors develop a system that was and is close to their natural roots. I am impacted by his work because it gave me more insight and understanding as to how to work with the various odus and it has enriched my own divination skills and work with my own clients. Those who do not have a lot of experience with Ifa or Santeria might want to purchase this book because of the depth of understanding, historical facts and partical experience and wisdom provided by the author.

A must have in your Ifa library.

This book is full of stories and ideas about reading the diloggun, Well thought out and very readable. Not the sort of book you read only once I will be popping in and out of it for a long while.

O autor é bastante polêmico no meio Lukumi, mas o caráter e a vida dele não importam, fez um excelente livro.Aborda o método do oráculo de merindinlogun (búzios) de acordo com a melhor tradição cubana. Comprei outros livros e tratados cubanos e esse aqui é o melhor. Quem aprender por esse aqui já vai entender como é o oráculo de Ifá.

Wonderful book that is laid out so well for easy use. Both my husband and I really enjoy it and would recommend it to anyone interested, a must for your library.
