I Can Stream Bluetooth Music Through a Kenwood KDC 319 In A 1994 Chevy Silverado!
This small black module has two small wires, red (+) battery and black (-) battery, a larger black wire with a 13 pin plug and no instructions (see picture). First I removed the glove box and door from my 1994 Chevy pickup and zip-tied the module to an existing wire bundle. I soldered a longer red wire to the existing one (you could use a crimp fitting), ran it behind the dash to an unused switched (key on) terminal (+) on the fuse block of my Chevy pickup, crimped an eye lug to the black (-) wire and attached it to a screw on the side of the nearby ECM module (I used a volt/ohm meter to determine the switched connection from the fuse block). I modified the 13 pin plug because when plugged into the Kenwood KDC 319 CD jack, it protruded into a module which kept it from seating flush with the dash. This was CAREFULLY done with a Dremel sanding attachment to remove enough of the molded rubber to allow it to clear the module. There is a tiny blue pairing LED that illuminates with power applied but you won't see it if you install it behind the dashboard (and it isn't necessary for this to work). After everything is connected start your vehicle, repeatedly press the Kenwood SRC button until the display shows CD and wait for AUX to display. Then scan for Bluetooth devices on your phone. The device name is Jie Rui BT-5908. I had no trouble pairing it to my Samsung S8 and the sound quality is awesome! A voice announces when it connects and there is an odd ringtone it generates through the speakers when a call is received and connected. (I don't suggest using this option as it causes an echo between the phone's MIC and your vehicle speakers so turn their volume down until the call is finished). If you have any of the Kenwood car stereos with the changer deck option you could easily make this conversion too! My 1994 Chevy Silverado now now has an option that didn't exist when it was manufactured and I'll enjoy many more miles of driving streaming music from my phone!

Easy hookup on KDC-X491
I used the "P.CONT" (Amp power on wire) for positive power for this adapter and just grounded it to the the radio chassis. Plugged the DIN in and that was it. Now...I just have to figure out how it works. On my phone is was listed something like "Jie Rui BT-5908". within my phones bluetooth settings, I just renamed it to my car's name. If I locate the "how to operate" I'll update this post. This "may" be within the radio settings.UPDATE: This works REALLY nicely! This little voice tells you when it's "Connected" or "Disconnected" and if there are any settings, I haven't found them and don't need them. If your playing music from your phone, when a call comes-in it stops the music. Yup! I like it!

Easy Bluetooth add
This was a great addition to my existing stereo and gave me upgraded Bluetooth capabilities on an older stereo without having to replace my entire system. I would suggest while easy for myself to install, no directions where provided with the unit for those expecting a how to guide.

Works great but no one can hear me during phone calls
Works great for bluetooth audio, but no one can hear me during phone calls. I can hear them through speakers but they can't hear me. Anyway this can work for phone calls?

Easy to install if using a quick splice connector
I’m not an electrician or anything like that, but I installed this using a quick splice connector for my tiburon kenwood stereo. It’s the first time I ever “wired” anything but it works. As soon as I turn on the ignition, it pairs quickly with my phone. Great sound, no issues found.

Waste
No instructions. Doesn’t work. Complete waste of money.

Bluetooth to your kenwood radio KRC-3006
The description said it will not work for a kenwood KRC-3006. But if it has the 10 disk CD changer plug in the back 13 pin, it will work. My CD changer quit working in my 65 mustang, so I thought I would try this one and it worked great, connected to my phone with no problems, and now I can listen to my music from my phone
