Works well so far, easy to set up. Ignore the instructions. Here's how to get it working with IFTTT.
I've got it set up at my bedroom entrance. Detects when I come in and turns on a light. That's all I wanted - a motion trigger without a hub (for now). It's a bit slow to trigger, but I'm still playing with it some. Next best feature IMO is that there is a replaceable battery. Kind of ridiculous people are putting out devices with batteries you cannot replace. Planned obsolescence anyone? As of now the Tuya app doesn't have IFTTT integration. Instead they use Smart Life. So you have to sync it with the Smart Life app, and then IFTTT will see the device. Once synced, create your trigger using Smart Life, click "person is detected", then whatever you named the device. For Android users: If you're clever, and willing to experiment with other apps a bit, you can set it up to do things like turn on when first detected (entering a room), then turn off and other lights on when detected again (leaving a room). Using IFTTT alone will only perform one action. For the supernerds: if you use Automagic or Tasker on Android, rather than using IFTTT, set it up to trigger when Smart Life sends a motion notification. That way you can keep track of the device's status and manage devices that don't have a toggle feature built in. You can also use this to turn on/off devices in other rooms when you leave. This will likely be faster as well, since that's one less channel to go through. IFTTT is notoriously slow some times.

Nifty motion sensor
Using this nifty little motion sensor in conjunction with a color smart bulb in my bathroom on a time schedule. Someone walks in and motion triggers the bulb. Four stars cause theres no time out function. So the lights stay on. Also has a simple (Android) app that shows alarms, emails if motion sensor is tripped, etc. Unfortunately the lack of a time out feature/setting, was a deal breaker for me.

terrible push notifications
On a whim I decided to get one and try it out for the low cost compared to other brands. Not much WIFI range and usually 1 of 10 sent phone notifications and zero to email. " stranger passing by!" a little cheesy. The limited documentation you get does not even list a brand name , very generic and no hard factory re-set button, only a re-start.JUNK

Don't buy one of these
I got a bad one on the first try so I returned it and ordered another. Got a bad one on the second attempt at the same purchase. They both lock up and won't work after several hours. What good is a motion detector that goes to sleep after a while and has to be woke up by taking the battery out and back in (reboot).

Do not buy.
Total waste of money. They work okay but a blue light flashes every time it sense a movement. This means you can’t use it in your bedroom if you want to sleep. It also means that the battery dies in 30 days. The batteries are expensive and a hassle to constantly change. I bought two and they are both the same......junk. Save you money. With some common design sense they could be nice.

not consistent at all.
i like the idea. but neither of the two i bought works consistently. which is not a good thing if you artie using them for ‘stranger passing bye’ notification.

Indiscriminate notifications.
This motion sensor was easy to install and connect to the internet. It is so sensitive that I receive notifications when there is no apparent activity. It does trigger a notification when a person passes by the sensor but the extreme frequency of false positives is completely unacceptable.

it work great
this sensor works great and very sensitive, many possibilities to use the sensor for a trigger other smart devices, like lights on a wemo switches. i will buy a couple more of these in the future.
