Nice cover
I bought the 16’ to 18’ cover for my ocean Kayak Zest two XP 16’4”, and fit perfect. Very good cover at least under a cover carport.

Not as Pictured
Just opened the box and am immediately disappointed with the color. I purchased "Digital" which is shown as a light color. I received, according to the label, "Digital". But the color is very dark and looks like a digitized version of "Forest". In selecting a camouflage pattern I am very selective in ensuring that the pattern matches the background that the covered kayak will sit in. This dark pattern will look like a black blob relative to the lighter background it will sit in.Another glitch. I ordered 15.3 feet to 16.5 feet based on the pull-down selection menu on the product description page. The kayak cover that arrived seemed much larger than 16.5 feet so I went through the mechanics of placing another order (without ordering). This time I noticed that if one picks, 15.3 feet to 16.5 feet as I did, then looks at the cart page, the size that is ordered states, 6.3 feet to 18 feet. Another example ... if you pick from the menu 10.8 feet to 12 feet from the size menu, the result in the cart states, 8.5 to 15 feet. Quite a difference!! In fact, the record of my order states the same thing (6.3 to 18 feet). I imagine it is intended to be a general description of the product size ranges. But bottom line, I ultimately cannot determine what was actually ordered nor what was actually shipped. That amazon cart page glitch probably explains why there are a considerable number of customer reviews that are disappointed with the size, as am I ... way too big. Obviously, the merchants fix to this problem is to make sure that the pull-down size selection menu on the product page, matches exactly the size represented on the cart page. And of course that the product shipped matches both.As for the quality -- I am comfortable with what I received. I believe that what I was looking for, and what I received are all in good alignment with the purchase price. Not withstanding the other glitches named above, I would order another.

Can't get it to stay on
Edit 10/2/19: I've upgraded my review from 1 to 4 stars. Here's why. Added a star for the very responsive seller who contacted me right away as soon as my review was posted and offered to send a smaller size, thinking that might work better. I was skeptical, but agreed to try it. I was right to be skeptical -- it held on a bit better, but the sides still slipped up, and the drawstring holder is pretty useless, as it slides right out again. So I started tying it on with two pieces of rope, and, though a bit of a nuisance, that works pretty well, so I added another star because it is now usable, though with some effort. I then added another star because the cover itself seems well made, durable, and pretty waterproof. We haven't had any storms lately, though, so I'll revise this again when I see how it lasts over time and through weather.Normally, I like to contact the seller before posting a negative review, but this item came with no tag or documentation of any kind, so I don't know how to contact them.I bought the cover for a large canoe -- it did say it's for canoes as well as kayaks. But no matter how tightly I pull the drawstring, or how loosely I leave it, the cover just slides up the sides of the canoe and won't stay on. Some reviews mentioned a strap, but mine doesn't have one -- don't know if it should have. I tried tying it on, but couldn't get the sides to stay down long enough to tie it, and anyway, that kind of defeats the purpose of being able to slip it on quickly. Thought about putting grommets down the sides, but the fabric doesn't seem strong enough for that.Upshot is that it holds on the ends ok, but the middle just flops around and the slightest breeze uncovers the central part of the canoe -- it just won't hold on to the smooth, steep sides of my canoe (Mad River Teton). I really hate returning things, but I can't see any way this will be usable for me.

Seems good for the price
I just received it today so can’t speak to durability, but it easily fit over my 17.5 Necky and is much easier and nicer than the tarp I was using previously. Fabric is light (lighter than tarp) but seems adequate for the job. The price is fantastic. I’m about to order a second one…

These covers are as advertised. A dust cover.
I purchased 4 of these covers almost 3 years ago. For use on kayaks I have mounted on the side of a storage building . I use them on 2 kayaks that I have on kayak hangers in full sun. And 2 kayaks I have on hangers in the shade of a tree part of the day. I am replacing the 2 covers in full sun. I like the fact that the covers are held on with a shock cord and that they only cover the top side that is exposed to the weather. I had kayak covers before that zipped up the entire kayak. And being in the weather moisture would be trapped inside the cover causing mold to grow on the kayaks. Those where considered outdoor covers and waterproof fabric. The UV rotted those out as well. With these covers because they can breathe with the backside of the kayak up against the building away from sun exposure and the drain holes in the bottom of the kayak. No evidence of mold growing on the kayaks. The covers do collect water from run off from the storage building. But after a rain I just simply stretch the shock cord and dump out the water. The 2 covers I have on the side of storage building that is shaded are not showing signs of UV damage yet.

Deteriorates in the sun
Bought 2 of these in March of 2020 to keep my kayaks protected and not to fade from the sun. Here we are August of 2022, and they are trash. The one that is exposed to the sun started to deteriorate last summer of 2021. Basically, they might last a year in the direct sun. I guess it is better than my kayaks fading but I would expect covers like these to last much longer.

Good for about 18 months under florida sun
I bought this for my 14 ft kayak and it lasted only 18 months. It started to fade and dry out under the sun and ripped. If water pools on it it will percolate.
