Good-looking rain jacket
Love the look of this Frogg Togg motorcycle-targeted jacket (black on top, green on the bottom)! It's sized to fit over a motorcycle riding jacket, which is great, but only with your arms down to your sides. Extend your arms out in front of you (in the motorcycle-riding postion), and the sleeves get REALLY short and tug uncomforably on the jacket you're wearing underneath this rain jacket, and then it makes the rain jacket bunch up underneath and become uncomfortably tight. Seems like this jacket was designed like most other motorcycle-riding clothing, with longer sleeves for when your arms are extended towards the handlebars. Pleated sleeves (at the shoulders) are what most motorcycle jackets have to help with that forward movement of the arms. This jacket didn't have that. Now I understand it could be tough to fit a 6' 5" 220 lb man, but I tried the XL size on at a store (that I ended up buying on Amazon--the store didn't carry the black/green color jacket) and it fit fine, so not sure why the sleeves seemed shorter on the jacket purchased from Amazon. May not be an issue if you are a more average height. Maybe Frogg Toggs should make this in Tall sizes??? At minimum, pleat the sleeves to prevent the Frogg Togg rain jacket from tugging on the jacket sleeves of the jacket you're wearing underneath. One other thing....the spring-loaded drawstring "stays" (don't know exactly what they are called) aren't strong enough to stay in the position they were put in. I cinched the jacket down on the bottom hem using the stays to simulate what I'd do in an actual rain storm and the "stays" allowed the elastic drawstrings to slide, causing the jacket to open up at the bottom. The springs in those "stays" need to be stronger or it will let rain in under the jacket.

WATCH YOUR SIZE
Using my normal sizing the Toggs was 2 sizes too large.

They work
They work, Easy to store in my saddle bag, any negative would be to watch your leg against your exhaust pipe, they will melt

This Large is much bigger and heavier duty than my old Frogg Toggs Large
I had a Large 10yr old Frogg Toggs Leap Froggs(Toad Ally) before and it fit okay during the summer with just a t-shirt but using it over the top of a heated jacket it was a little snug and zipper was tricky when fighting the elastic jacket bottom. This new style in a LARGE is MUCH bigger and longer with no elastic in the bottom. It has draw strings.Makes me wonder if a medium would fit better. The collar fits too loose around my neck. Zipper is heavy duty and much better. Material is NOT that fuzzy stuff that rubs off if you are not careful so that is better.

The Price is right
This is a very lightweight piece of rainwear. It keeps you dry, it's breathable and it's inexpensive but it does have a self life. A few years of hard use sitting in a boat locker and it is cooked and has to be replaced. If you need something to keep you warm this isn't for you but I bought it a size larger so i could layer water resistant items under it including a coat.

Not For Me
The fabric feels like a burlap sack. I expect something smoother in a rainjacket. It may very well have been waterproof but it did not appeal to me.For some this would probably be an excellent rainjacket, just not for me.

Not really sturdy, but great price.
The jacket arrived very quickly and I used it soon after. The extra large size fit me perfectly, I'm 5'10" and 240. Used it on a motorcycle ride and it seemed to work very well. Its extremely light and folds up into a small bundle. I liked the reflective colour and the closers were also good. The hood seemed a bit bulky but that might have been how I folded it.I like the jacket but would be reluctant to use it say walking in the bush. The material its made of doesn't appear woven but made like a pressed fiber treated with a water resistant coating. For riding a motorcycle I think it will be great but I don 't think it will take a lot of abuse like hiking through heavy bush.

Sizing comments - fits large
Just received this jacket today. I wear a Tourmaster Sonora mesh motorcycle jacket that has a separate rain jacket layer underneath. Whenever it rained my skin was dry but the Sonora soaked up water like a sponge. Got the Frogg Togg to go over my motorcycle jacket. I wear a 2XL shirt and my motorcycle jacket is an XL. Heeding other sizing comments, I ordered an XL Frogg. It fits over my motorcycle jacket very well, maybe even a bit too big. If you plan on wearing this over a jacket, I'd order the same size as your jacket. If you are just wearing the Frogg as a stand alone, I'd go one size smaller than your usual.Haven't worn it on the bike or in the rain yet.

Material is quite thin and stiff/brittle.
This jacket fits well and is pretty well described in the product description. I was somewhat surprised at how thin and "brittle" the material is. However, it will likely shed water effectively and for my purposes, which is casual, periodic use for an hour or two at a time it will likely be sufficient

Weird Sizing - Cheap Material
I can't say anything about its rainproof abilities as I never used it and will be returning it. This jacket is made out of cloth material similar to Tyvek suits. I doubt this jacket would last very long. Also the sizing is way off. I bought a medium (my normal size) and it fit like and XL in the chest and arms but the length of the arms when held out was just right. Very weird.

Poor execution of an otherwise good material.
I used the more expensive kikker for my 30000km road trip, it performed well, only problem i had was the tiny zipper they chose to use. For my local trips, i bought this. On the first day I received it, it rained heavily and i thought it was a great opportunity to use it. First up, the cuffs are really stupid. The wind brought the rainwater right through and flooded my elbows. They should have just added neoprene or something to tighten the wrist holes up. Secondly, the plastic storm flap buttons are difficult to snap together especially at the neck area. Because of the in built hood (nonremovable), the neck area puffs up and collects water, which ultimately pours down your back. The buttons at the front of the neck is ridicusluoly difficult to close as well. There's no method to close the neck area at the very top. Duh.. its a rain jacket!
