One of my favorite manga!

Beautiful book of ink artwork and illustrations.

It's a wonderful book! I'm very happy by purchasing it. Yamada AKIHIRO is just wonderful with his outstanding style of drawing!Also, I had no problems with the reception of this book in France: everything was correct! Thaks!

As mentioned, this is 75% ink illustrations as seen in the novels with some familiar watercolors. Very few of the pieces in this book will be new to anyone who has been following the series over the years.Nevertheless, Seeing the pen and inkwork at this scale is very nice. And looking at the range of colour in the watercolours shows how online scans really don't do the artwork justice. These are really nice.So it's really what you want to get out of this kind of purchase. Having seen all of this work before was a slight disappointment. However as a collector's item I'm very pleased. I don't get tired at looking at nice art.

Unless you know Japanese or were hoping that this was like your usual coffee table book, you will be sorely disappointed in this product. There are no words (not even in Japanese kanji/language). It's just the promotional artwork for the series. There's no behind-the-scenes illustrations or facts that are in it.

even as I like it, its one star short due to being a tad costly. Mostly of black and white art seen as inserts in novels, bookended with colour versions from covers. A few missing from other media, like calendars, CD covers. Wonder if it as something to do with the (Chapter 1) on the cover?
