Speedplay Zero Stainless Pedals White 2017

Used every pedal system out there: Look/Shimano, Time and Speedplay. Never been able to adapt/like make Look/Shimano work, my knees just won’t tolerate them. Started using Time in 1989. Have used every version of Time pedals. Xpresso pedals broke into a million little pieces while just cruising after dinner one evening. So Time is out! Switched to Speedway a couple months ago. Like the ability to adjust the amount of float. Don’t like having to think about where I’m walking in Speedplay cleats. Don’t like havingto lube cleats or keep pedals clean. However, the pedals are very good. They hold you very securely no accidental releases. Definitely easier on the knees than Time pedals. Little harder to get into than any other pedals. Overall, very pleased.

I purchased these Speedplay Zero's to replace my older SpeedPlays. I was disappointed that I spent hours trying to clip in. I had planned a ride at 3:30 and did not get out until 5:30. During the ride I had to unclip and then had to ride the last 5 miles with my right she unclipped. I called Speedplay and the customer rep told be I just needed to work on pressing down and twisting my foot back and forth until the clip worked. Eventually, I had to make a small spring adjustment, and though easier, clipping in is not smooth like I thought it should be.Spending this much money on a good clip system and having this problem was disappointing

Don’t buy these pedals, clicking in is nearly impossible. I’ve used cleats for years, and cannot get these to work. Numerous forums on Speedplay have avid riders saying they have given up trying to use these. They are expensive and look cool but that is about it. Also Speedplay’s customer service doesn’t respond.

Delivered ahead of promised date. Love the product and have used for past 8 years. Only pedals I will consider for all my bikes

The images clearly show a shiny, polished spindle. What arrived is a matte finish that matches exactly none of my bike. Pedals are stupidly hard to get into at first, but they break in after a bit of stomping on them.

Love these new pedals and would highly recommend. Clipping in the first time is difficult because you need to break it in. But you warm up to it. Love the feel.

Nice pedals. I’m swapping out my X version so I find the entry and release on the Zeros a bit tight, but that’s not uncommon.Really like the float adjustment.I’m giving this product 4 stars because I need to spend more time with them.

Left pedal is very difficult to get into. Finish is wearing off.

嫁さんのニローネ用に購入しましたが、固くて入らないと苦戦してます。と、言うか全く使えてません。私も同じタイミングでSPDからSpeedPlayに換えましたが、非常に固いです。１週間程使ってようやく思い通りにセット/リリースができるようになりました。性能に関しては、SLとの比較が出来ないですが、とても楽に回せます。しっかり固定されていながらも、ガチガチ感がなく脚への負担も少なく感じます。初期の固さによるストレスを突破できれば非常に優秀なビンディングだと思います。嫁さんの分は私が慣らしをした後に使わせてますが、いまだに固いと文句言ってます。デザインと色が好きだから意地でも使うそうですが、女性や体重の軽い方には向かないかもしれません。ビンディングとしては☆5ですが、初期の固さが尋常ではないので-2の☆3評価としました。

SHIMANOの105から換装しました。105ペダル自体に不満はなく、それ以前に使いこなせていないことは理解しつつ、バイクを新調した際にペダル以外がアルテグラ仕様となってしまったことと、もう立ちゴケしたくないという思いに加え、スピードプレイ愛好家の同僚に勧められたことから、思い切って購入しました。ブログ等で言われている、馴染むまではなかなかクリートがハマらないというのは本当で、最初の頃は全然ハマらずに苦戦していましたが、少し馴染み出した頃にクリート用のドライルブを使用したところ、今までの苦労がウソのように簡単にハマるようになりました。まだまだ馴染み切れておらず、たまにハマらない時もありますが、概ね改善されました。外す時はあまり力を入れずに外せますし、立ちゴケしかけてもなんとか外れてコケずに済んでいます。立ちゴケが怖くてビンディングデビューできていない方は選択肢の１つに入れてもいいと思います。ただし、初期のステップインのしにくさにはご注意下さい。

クリートの色の記載がなく、質問したところ同じグリーンだとの事で購入しました。今まで使っていたものもスピードプレイのグリーンでしたが、常時他社製の穴開きカバーを使っていた為、ほぼグリーンは見えませんでした。この商品は付属のクリートカバーもグリーンなので、見た目も非常に美しいです。アルミ製のプレートがスチールのプレス製に変わった為、ビス穴の位置が微妙に違い取付時に頭を舐めないか少々気を使います。取付のビス、ベースプレートが4.0N•m、クリート本体が2.5N•mとシビアなのでトルクレンチかあった方が良いと思います。またスピードプレイ専用の靴の場合、専用のプレートが必要なので気をつけて下さい。『ウォーカブル』と言う名の通り、今までのものより歩き易くなっています。しっかりと取付すればクリートのモチは良いので、他のメーカーに比べて特別高いモノでもないと思います。グリーン（特にライムグリーン）を差し色に使っている方にはお勧めです。

某自転車ショップの女性店員の方のおススメでspeed playに決め、購入。こちらのレビューを見て、まずはペダルを床に置き、ビンディングシューズを履き床の上ではめる練習をしました。ペダルを外すときはシューズを脱いでロードに取り付けそこではずす練習をし…を毎日10回程度、それを3日程度行い、家の前で片足ずつ実走練習。するとかなりはめやすくその後は普通に使えるようになりました。ペダルの裏表で付けやすい、付けにくいが少しありますが、総評として気に入っています。

現在ロードバイクは4台有りますが、全てにスピードプレイを付けてます。ペダルの裏表を気にする事無く使用できるのが最大の利点だと思います。私の周りでスピードプレイを使ってる人は居ないのでちょっと目立ちます！カッコいい！しかし、友達からはペダルが違うので私のロードを乗りたくても乗れ無いので不評です。逆に変な奴に勝手にまたがられる事も無いので私は好きです。
