Low cost, good quality for use in landscape lighting fixtures

I bought a box of these to replace some cheap Torchstar LED MR16 bulbs, half of which burned out despite the "estimated 20,000 hour lifetime, in less than 3000 hours of use. So far all these bulbs made it to the 2000 hour mark with no failures - we'll see how they do in the next 6 months or so. Since these bulbs on average are half the price of the cheap Torchstars, they are worth it despite the higher electricity costs.Color is OK - the LED bulbs were a bit on the greenish side, not useful for highlighting a nail polish display at my wife's salon. However these bulbs render the true color more accurately, although there are no Color Rendering Index (CRI) numbers available.In short, so far they are good, reliable replacement bulbs.

I use for outdoor landscaping lights. I have purchased the expensive version of these bulbs, the average priced bulbs, and these which are the least expensive I've seen. Honestly, they pretty much all work the same. For some reason, everything lasts 4-8 months and then need to be replaced. These last just as long as the other versions, look the same, and I've had no trouble. They are warm toned vs. cool toned. I'd purchase them again in a heartbeat- will never pay $6 a bulb again. Can afford to keep extras on hand at this price. Gotta love finding an economy version of a product that works just as well for a much cheaper cost.The one thing I would always look for in an outdoor light bulb is something with a clear face over the bulb- some are open faced and it seems moisture gets in and they burn out faster. These do have the clear face over the bulb to protect it. Solid product. Worked fine for me.

I bought a 12-pack of these in 2010. Today one failed and I went to find a spare. Now I have seven left. With my population of 10 sockets half have lasted just over 8 years already at about 3 hours per day use. NOTE: they are behind a dimmer which controls the turn-on and turn-off rate (1/8 secs) but otherwise is full-on at a controlled 12V.That is in stark contrast to the similar main-brand bulbs I was using before my current installation when I seemed to be up the stepladder every month.I am very very pleased with the longevity of the 12V 35W product.

Seems like my landscape lights keep going out and I was tired of buying the expensive GE bulbs so I thought I'd give these a try. I just got my Amazon box today and when I looked inside there were 12 individually boxed bulbs inside. I took two out and replaced two burnt GE bulbs that were roughly 3 months old. I'll use this review date as a starting point to see how long these bulbs last. I read other reviews mentioning a pink glow to the light but I don't see that. It's a four star for now until I see how long they last.UPDATE - It's been 7 months and none of the bulbs have burned out. Will update again when the first bulb goes out.

Bought these bulbs 16 months ago. There is a dozen in a box. I just used the final pair. I put these in 2 pegoda lamps in front of the house. The lights are on for 12 hrs each day. So if you do the calculations, in average, they lasted 3 months per bulb. In reality, a few of them lasted less than a week and some lasted way more than 3 months. Given the price per bulb in comparison to how much they cost at Lowes or HomeDepot, this is a really good deal. And the bulbs that you buy at homedepot or Lowes don't last that much longer than these anyway. Great deal. Go for it.

I have bought this 10 bulb pack back in 2017. I used it in my home office which has four of these lights. The lights are on approximately 5 hours a day, seven days a week. Now 30 months later, two of the 10 lights are still working. That works out to be 2250 hours of average life span. The package says 1.83 years based on 3 hours a day. That's 2000 hours. Given the price, I would say this is well worth the money.

I have purchased dozens of these over the years. They have the color and brightness I am looking for when up lighting trees in a landscape. They are priced right, and I like the quality. I particularly like element being fully covered with a glass lens which keeps my fingers off the element and water out.They don't last forever so I keep spares on the shelf. But I must say I have tried LED's and found them to not last much longer. At this price I can afford to burn a bit more electricity vs. equivalent LED's.

This enabled me to have controlled load on a transformer.

Great value for money.Easy to install.

Perfect for my track lighting in the hall (which is in use more times than not). So far, so good - no duds!
