Great base layer
It got below freezing on a recent overnight backpacking trip. These kept me warm and toasty in my sleeping bag and were very comfortable. They're slightly see-through, so definitely can't be worn on their own. I'm 5'7", 135 lbs and the small fit perfectly.

Perfect way to stay warm under normal clothing
Was worried these would be too thick, too thin, stretch out after an hour and bunch up, not be warm, or be too hot. Fully expected to be returning these. And I love them now. Thin enough to not need to size up in pants. They don't bunch up. Warm enough I'm not freezing. They do stretch out a bit though it is not much somehow. Washer and dryer... come out perfect. Wool in the dryer. Eek! They did not shrink! They definitely have a wool type feeling but it's not rough at all. Some people would likely prefer a spandex type feeling but the breathability of wool is worth it's weight in gold. Worn every day nearly and showing no signs of piling or other stress points!

Didn't fit well
I normally love ice breaker base layers. They are warm and comfy. I bought these because a bike in winter and I was looking for a thinner layer for those days the 250 weight are too heavy. These just don't fit right. I have plenty of merino wool items that have a decent stretch to them. These had very little. They felt like they were constantly sliding down my rear end. I had to return.

Best thermal base layer ever
I have the shirt so bought the pants. They are both the best base layer I have tried. Very comfortable and thin enough to wear under my office pants when it's cold. Highly recommend.

Great Investment
I bought these and took them to both Colorado and Ireland and was very impressed with the warmth they provided. I have a lower low tolerance for cold climates and these kept me warm, despite their thin appearance. I was able to wear them under regular pants while hiking and they were very comfortable.

Warm but thin
Great fit and very warm but not as opaque as I was looking for. You definitely cannot wear these alone, even into a store or two after skiing. I did keep them though. Like I said, super warm and good fit.

Soft and warm
Very thin merino wool, soft and warm, great for layering

Not squat proof
I thought I could wear these by themselves in warmer weather, but they are completely see through. They can only be used as a base layer. Also, they’re very light weight. I’m not sure how warm they would be, but would would probably work okay for 65-70 degree weather.
