The bolts that comes with are one inches short, doesn't have washer/lock nut. Other than that, it lines up with 2023 Ram Promaster 3500.

Installed this on a 2017 Ram Promster 2500 van (camper conversion). I had to tow a car (toyota camry) across the country using a two-wheel tow dolly from uhaul. I really debated between this and the 400$ version with the extra mounting points... If you are debating the same decision you will find a fair amount of people saying don't use this hitch, get the heavier duty hitch. It will bend your frame... etc...I decided to trust the weight rating, which I fell within, and go for it. My camry and tow dolly totalled around 4,000 lbs and this thing was rated for 5,000 lbs. It was totally fine. It helps that the tongue weight in a tow-dolly configuration is minimal, so perhaps a boat or trailer could be more of an issue but for me it was fine.My one complaint is that the hitch is designed to mount to the back of the van, you remove the bumper, install the hitch to the frame, then reinstall the bumper over the hitch. It all installs fairly solid and it fits pretty well but not perfect. The bumper cover is clearly just not made to fit over additional framing. It's tight and the flexible plastic bumper sorta had to stretch to fit back into place which created some pressure points that led to some minor cracks along the top of my bumper. Like along the ridges that you step on. It's minor and you can barely tell but I'd of course preferred that to not have happened.

I researched and purchased this hitch to strengthen the rear of my 2018 Ram Promaster high-roof extended van because I cannot afford to have it rear-ended and put out of service for two weeks or more while in the repair shop. The factory bumper is little more that a couple pieces of light gauge painted steel channel welded together that will crumple and require replacement in a low-speed collision. This hitch is well-designed and will augment the rear of your Promaster against collisions and intrusive vehicle damage. It was very easy to install, and took about 45 minutes with hand tools. (I am a mechanic) I am also installing a hitch extension with a hitch step to make rear entry into the van a bit easier, since the rear deck of the van sits a little high when it is empty of cargo. Having a hitch step will split the height difference between the factory bumper height and the ground, making it much easier and safer to step up in, and out of the van.

I am a bit biased as I had a recent bad experience with a POS hitch of another brand, but this one could not fit better or have been an easier, more painless install. No surprises or complications. Shipped nicely packaged (unlike other brand which arrived unpackaged and missing alot of paint). Instructions are fine but if I hadn't done this before I would have appreciated instructions with pictures that you could actually see....print quality is quite bad. Fit could have been better, top edge of hitch on both sides is about a quarter inch to tall and restricts the bumper cover from laying flat against rear, other than that it’s a great product and looks good!

Good product and was easy to install. The shipping was less then ideal. It shipped as shown. Would liked it to better protected for the shipping. It had a few scraps and scuffs as shown. It’s a hitch so not like it will not get dinged up. But for it being new it has a few biffs right off the bat 😞

Quick delivery and easy to install

The plastic bumper require some cutting to fit back on the vehicle.The instruction should have advise that.
