Nice Quality
I purchased this CloverPet backpack (in Forget-Me-Not pattern) directly from the CloverPet website. I received it pretty quickly with regular shipping (ordered on July 30th, arrived August 4th). Same price as on Amazon ($195) plus ~$21 for shipping. The backpack arrived in perfect condition even though the box was smashed in one corner, but the bubble was cracked unfortunately. I emailed the company and they responded right away and I received the replacement bubble directly from the manufacturer in China 3 weeks later. The backpack is super sturdy, made with high quality materials (zippers, interior lining, felt and leash attachment). I've been taking my cat with me around town to run errands, get froyo, Petco, etc. He didn't seem to mind it at all. With other carriers, he meowed like crazy. He liked the mesh window so he could smell everything outside. There are also smaller mesh ventilation windows along with three open vent holes on each of the lateral sides of the backpack. This works well because I can put treats into the vent holes and it is still covered up so my cat feels unexposed and safely hidden. My cat is 12 lbs and there was adequate room for him to curl up and lay down at the base of the backpack. When he sits up, there is ample room (both in height and width). I highly recommend this carrier. Haven't tried hiking or travelling by plane yet, but after using it for the past few weeks, I would be willing to try both hiking and plan travel. This is the nicest quality carrier I have owned.
