Excellent Practice amp
I had originally ordered a Laney Mini NX Bass - while it had a host of features, small size and battery portable it didn't have enough volume to keep up with my VOX Mini 3w guitar practice amp. I sent it back and ordered the VOX Pathfinder and couldn't be more pleased, while it's AC power only this little guy rocks. It lacks an Aux input but makes up in nice tone and all the volume you need in a practice amp. The 2x3" speakers give a nice bass tone and are well matched with the amp side. For a little bass amp at $129.00 I think the Pathfinder Bass 10w is going to be hard to beat.

Great practice amp!
This amp is awesome for the price! I needed a decent amp to take to bass lessons and this one is small and lightweight, but still has a great tone, and decent volume output. I did take the advice of the other reviewers, and added some foam to the open back of the amp to contain the sound waves and make it perform better.

nice little unit
Needed a Vox amp to round out my collection of Beatle gear, was plesantly surprise by the sound coming out of the little box. No going to scare the neighbors with it, but will work fine for a jam session with friends.

Best little bass amp ever!
Don’t be discouraged by the size, because for a mini 10W amp, it can get loud! It’s perfect because of the quality, it’s good for traveling, and being outdoors, as well! Honestly, this amp is beautiful in every way! Money well spent!

MARVELOUS
WOW. This unit performs far beyond my expectations. I wouldn't mistake it for my AC-30, but it is definitely a VOX. It is surprisingly loud and capable of delivering the AC-50's "built-in glass-shattering treble".

Cute toy. Not for bass.
Absolutely a toy, not a bass amp at all. Cute, but absolutely not a bass amp. This won't cut it as a practiceamp either. Replace the speakers, seal the rear, port the cabinet, and add power, and it can be a practice bass amp. Otherwise just a cute toy. In reality it is simply a JRC4558D opamp bassed GUITAR amp like you would find with any "starter pack" from any manufacturer. Quite similar to a Squier Sp10 or similar rebadged thing. The circuit is a full range amplifier used for generic instrument amplification, with a diode (led) clipping circuit for guitar. Nothing special at all except the cute looks. If the back was sealed and the speakers didn't suck, it would be useable as a bedroom practice bass amp, but the back is open and the speakers indeed suck. I was willing to gut and mod mine, and I love it now. But I knew it sucked when I bought it.
