Utterly underwhelmed when i opend my first one.. I was greeted with 3 metal rivets the ends of which had been stamped on by an angry machine. Bits were missing they had been pressed so hard and not uniform looking some of the edges were split and sharp..Not what i want near my rods and reels.The centre rivet was also quite on the wonk.. I cant explain it realy because the grips are such an unusual and complex shape. It just looked wrong, cheap and nasty and at near 15 quid i expected better.. From Nash i expected better also. I try to buy British when i can..The other two i purchaced were much more uniform in respect to the rivets finishing.. The plastic still had a lot of frilly edges and did not look fresh.. I think of fox or korda stuff and its never cheap but its never nasty looking either, always fresh in apperance.You can tell a cheap job a mile away..So thats the downs. Now for the ups. The grips fitted my cork handles as promised I chose the large size.The action seems ok and the rod is gripped in a firm way. I had no worries about rod comming loose when it was clipped in. The rest also has a softer plastic insert which cushions your handles.This has a silicone like tacky feel adding yet more grip.The action of the clip is springy and this effort is provided by the plastic having some flex. The best part of them is the design i feel. You have no metal spring to rust or snap the whole bottom of the clip is the spring. Quite clever..Overall the design it good however the quality is not.. I hope someone else makes them properly soon then i can spend another 40 quid on them.. I feel for what i paid i was mugged over.. In the flesh i would have given about 18 quid for the three..Cheap imported stuff with an expensive brand label.. I feel..
