5 months of use Review, encompassing both cool and hot periods of weather.I wasn't sure about the new weighted blanket trend, sounded like a lot of malarkey - however I toss and turn a lot in my sleep and do suffer with anxiety so I decided to give it a try. I ordered and tried several different weighted blankets. Many of them felt like they contained a lot of sandbags - interestingly enough, it was the ones that claimed they didn't. The Cozirest blanket has evenly distrubted weight and the best part that I was unable to find with other blankets was the dual sided duvet cover. Another that I tried had 2 separate duvets - a cooler for summer and a warm for winter. Sounds great, but in all actuality - you want the dual sided cover - trust me. In the summer when I used this I would go to bed with the soft side down, I always (with or without this blanket) wake up in the middle of the night hot. This blanket is perfect because all I have to do is flip it over onto the sheen, satiny side and voila! - cool to the touch and body and I quickly get back to sleep. Other blankets did not have the evenly distributed weight, so that alone put this one heads and tails above the others, with that reversible duvet cover? You cannot go wrong. Bonus? Less tossing and turning and the weight of the blanket was comforting, wrapping around me, making me feel cozy and at peace.Picture: Top portion is the satiny sheen side, bottom is the soft side. I have always wanted a weighted blanket but was afraid until now. While looking on amazon for a weighted blanket, Sensadream gave me the essentials that i was looking for. I absolutely love that it has a dual-sided duvet, giving me a minky dot material that I absolutely love but also giving me a 100% bamboo side that is silky and cool feeling. I am very much a sensory person. The weight of the blanket is perfect. its not too heavy and it has a very calming weight to it. I would definitely recommend this 15 lbs. weighted blanket. It is well made with the double stitching to keep the weight from shift inside the blanket. in the instructions it gives clear instructions on how to attach the duvet to the blanket. The tie down method is a great way to keep the blanket from bunching up in the duvet. It keeps it evenly distributed within the duvet.My first night of using the Sensadream weight blanket,was very relaxing. I didnt toss and turn. I drifted to sleep quickly. I felt amazing the next morning. I felt well rested and ready for the day. Although I really wanted to stay in bed with the blanket because it made me feel comfy and calm.My daughter loves to use it to calm her legs while watching television or reading books on the couch. She says "It helps me focus on reading when the blanket keeps my legs still." I gotta say, I was a little sceptical about the whole weighted blanket craze, but I found myself with a little extra cash and a burning need to satisfy my curiosity about this product that every single person on earth seems to suddenly be obsessed with, so I bought this one.I'm kind of a little bit in love with it. I've never had problems sleeping, but I definitely wake up less during the night now. Sleeping under it kind of feels like a hug, which, during quarantine, is a hot commodity.I have a few tiny issues that aren't too bad for me, but might impact other people. It's a little warm for summer, but I also have my bed about four inches away from my AC so that's not a big deal. I sleep on my stomach, but when I'm watching TV on my laptop in bed (quarantine life) the amount of pressure it puts on my toes is kind of uncomfortable so maybe get a lighter one than recommended if you sleep on your back. Also making my bed is about 10x more annoying now, but whatever.No regrets, other than that these things are too expensive for me to buy a second one for my couch.

This was my first weighted blanket and it's not what I expected. I thought the pressure would feel much...stronger? Heavier? To me it doesn't seem that much different than a regular blanket. So I'm very disappointed but I'm not going to return it and note it has NOTHING to do with the actual PRODUCT.I LOOOOVE the softness of this blanket. I love the color (I got dark gray), the look, the feel, everything. I love that the puffy side is so pretty (my cat loves it too). I'll always sleep with the satiny side against my body because there's no way my apartment would ever get so cold that I'd need to flip it. I live in a small studio apt. with a window a/c so I really don't sweat under this blanket. But without an a/c, I can't imagine!10% of your body weight is recommended, but maybe I should've gotten 20 pounds (even though I'm only 140). I really thought it would feel much heavier, and that pressure was something I was looking forward to.

I can’t believe how much i actually needed this weighted blanket. I’ve been longing for a hug for the longest time as part of some major healing I’m going through right now. But i don’t have anyone around to give me a hug on a regular basis. This blanket came to the rescue. I just have to wrap myself up in this blanket and i feel like I’m being hugged, problem solved.But i do have a few issues with this blanket. I can’t sleep with it because i overheat while being under it all night. The weight itself is perfect, but there is too much heat to the blanket.Also the beads do not stay in the little pockets that they are originally sewn into. They don’t all go to the edges, but they don’t stay in the original pockets that they were sewn into.

This blanket is awesome. Well worth the money! Thanks for a fantastic product!
