Shipping was quick. It took longer to Google on how to install on a 2016 Mercedes C300. Luckily my model had the star I could twist off, no taking apart my front bumper. I wanted to to run the hot wire (red) to my passenger low beam headlight. I don't want the Illuminated star on during the day (senseless). Mercedes dealership wouldn't tell me which lowbeam wire was to the power cord to t-tap into (make sure you get the correct t-tap gauge for your wiring headlight harness wire). I had to go to a auto part store to get this tool called "Hook Probe Circuit Tester" to see which was the power cord for my passenger low beam headlight. I found the cord (yellow and grey cord) with this tool after the 2nd cords I tested (it beeped and lid up this tool). Grounded the black cord to a bolt close to this headlight wiring harness. Tested it and it worked like a charm. I have had this installed for a month now and no problem yet nor any warning signs on my dash. Illuminated star comes on at sunset and it looks good. I get allot of compliments. I took that circuit tester back to the auto parts store and got my full refund. Ialso suggest getting one of wiring clamp tools (return after..LOL!!)

Although it fit my 2014 E-Class Coupe perfectly, there were NO INSTRUCTIONS included. It would be great to not have to search countless youtube videos or google to figure out how to install these things.

I was stunned by the dealer's suggested $600 price tag to have the lighted star installed, and learned that they don't even factory installed it on GLAs. Bought mine and installed it in about 1 hour after watching u-tube video first. Tips: Don't try to open the existing foglight from the front but approach it from the back tire well cover. Either way it's a little tight but totally doable. You could take the tire off for easier access but it would help to have smaller hands. Position the power wire at the top of the star, loosen all top front grill screws to fish the wire to the side that you want to connect. You will need to have foglight on all the time to have the lighted star on. Also, it is a decorative item, not a light so don't expect it to be super visible from a distance. Either way, I saved at least $500 and it looks just as good as the factory made.

The pictures tell the story. Like everyone else, instructions would be nice but thank goodness for YouTube. It would be very helpful if a mark for top-dead-center was there as well. I've found that the LED's are the perfect brightness contrasting my headlights. Not too bright but just bright right, haha. Of course this isn't the same quality of the OEM version but you can buy 12 of these if they go out and still have less invested. Burns out every 6 months for 6 years you are still ok. Yes, I would recommend this seller and product and I wish they had paid me for my review, haha.

Looks great on my glk very easy install but I realize some cars won’t be as easy we just ran the wire along the hood groove to the #4 fuse. For everyone saying that it doesn’t fit symmetrically that’s because you have it in wrong. That was the part of the install that took me the longest. The Mercedes star is not symmetrical, one of the legs is ever so slightly longer than the other two, the longest leg must go on top, then when you click it into place it sits perfectly. I wired mine to the headlights so it only goes on when they do. Now I need to change my headlights to the cool white bulbs so it will look like they are all the same color. A nice little upgrade for your Mercedes.

I am very pleased. Its not as bright as the authentic illuminated star that came installed on my glc300 but for the price its still amazing. As everyone else stated, it doesn't come with directions. However I took it to a neighborhood auto shop and they put it on and charged me only $30. Some have complained about it only lighting up when the engine is on but he was able to hook it up to the same fuse as the head lights so they run together simultaneously. If the headlights are on, the logo lights up. If I turn the headlights off, the logo will cut off. So it lights up when I unlock the car and stays illuminated for 30 seconds after I lock the car because that's the setting I have programed. I highly recommend this product. I'm sure I could've installed it myself but to save myself the hassle and headache I just took it to someone else to do it for me. Buy this one. You won't regret it!!!

Dyi and has a nice look, but only setback on my E class is I can only tap into the fuse. Each vehicle will have different wiring options. Go to internet for fuse connection instructions. Would of given a 5 star if instructions were provided.

It may be fancy to some and vain to others but when your Mercedes has this bright star lit up in the evening, it's is much easier recognizable. This illuminated logo is functional, especially when you drive in convoy. And yes it may bring a little pride as well. It says: HERE I AM.To install, you need a good and patient mechanic. On our 2010 model we had to cut out some of the old star's rings which took up a good part of an hour. All in all well worth the challenge. The cost is negligent for the pleasure you'r gaining.
