It’s too expensive for what it is, I got a prescription for valtrex instead.

End of my cold sores
I have tried everything on the market, fighting cold sores for the past 35 years and this is the one and only product that has worked for me. I apply it multiple times a day when I feel or see a breakout occur. It dries out or stops the blisters from occurring. I love this stuff. Yes, it is expensive, but there is a lot of product and I only buy it about every year and a half and it works for me unlike anything else on the market.
