Loved this rug when I received it. It was the perfect color and length (20' long - hard to find) but it is falling apart after one month! I read the tag that said to only use a vacuum without a beater bar and without high suction so I vacummed it on my hands and knees with a furniture attachment. Quite a job but I wanted to keep the rug nice so I was willing. Soon after I got it, I noticed pulls of yarn the entire length of the rug. This was just past 1 month so Amazon won't get involved. The company told me that this happens and that I have to take scissors and cut each of the pulls off each time they appear! What! there are at least 50 - 70 pulls at this time. What will be left of the rug once after a year of this nonsense? I paid over 200.00 for this rug! I want to return it and get my money back but the company - Safavieh won't take it back.Do not purchase a rug from this company. They do not stand behind their product.

This is a very nice rug. However, I stewed and stewed over whether to order it, because I am particular about the color red....it looked red in the picture, but when it came it is a very orange color....(as pictured with my true red dish towel) it is not a deep red like pictured....I do like the quality though, so I am trying to make it work......

This is the second Chelsea runner I have purchasedAs my dog destroyed my other one which was ten years old and still going strong.The threads in the black areas can vary a lot this one had a lot of grey thread but I like the rug so much I just don’t care it’s a very durable rug. This rug is in a high traffic area also under a skylight and it doesn’t fade.

I ordered the black and ivory version of this rug, and it is DEFINITELY navy. As others have mentioned, the outside of the rug is ivory colored with no yellow tint like in the picture. It happens to work even better for my house, so I'm not upset about the navy, but I would have been disappointed if I was counting on a black background. The rug quality is really nice and feels great under your feet. The edges do look a little rough in places as another reviewer mentioned, but it doesn't detract from the look of the rug. I also saw others mention that they had a lot of fibers coming off of the rug, but I haven't had that issue at all. For the price point, this is a great buy, but be prepared for a slight variation on the colors that are pictured.

I use this with a 3' round non skid pad underneath. Very pretty, thick and well made! I loved it so much I bought the matching smaller rectangle for the bottom of the stairs.

The blue gray background is actually more of a light blue or baby blue. I still liked the styling of the rug but it just keeps unraveling on the edges. I take fray Chek and repair it but it really needed to be bound. .i repair one area and within a week or so another comes apart. We retired with no children so it really should hold up better than this. As much as I like the style I'm going to have to replace it, so it was just a waste of our money.

These rugs shed fibers and it seems it will never stop. I've had them for a long time and still, big piles of fibers get all over the place. I expect the two I purchased will be threadbare soon. Very poor quality which surprised me as I first purchased two hall runners and they are in great condition. Love the pattern and the colors, but again, they shed fibers just by running your foot over the surface...big piles of fibers! One of mine is threadbare in one place on it. You would not want children playing on these as they would end up with carpet fibers all over their clothing and possibly in their nose and hair! I think the fuzz is bothering my sinuses.

I got this for a play area for my baby, so was disappointed with the chemical odor, which I didn't expect from an item that is only described as containing wool and cotton. There must be a synthetic backing into which the wool is woven under the canvas backing, or else there's a moth-proofing chemical applied to the wool. Otherwise, the item is as described and a great value for this size and for the workmanship.

I used this rug under a swivel chair. Looks great good quality and very happy with it.

Color was not accurate, so returned.
