Kas Rugs Area Rug, 5' x 7', Ivory

I originally saw this rug at an in person store and they were out of stock, which is why I searched Amazon for it. The price was considerably better and it was returnable so I wasn’t afraid to place the order. The rug exceeded my expectations…. it is extremely soft, feels like I’m walking on a cloud and there was absolutely zero off-gassing (chemical smell that most rugs have when they’re new ). I highly recommend purchasing a pad, however, to place underneath.

This rug is so amazingly soft! Much softer than the slightly cheaper Safavieh shag rugs, which I own 2 of. I bought the Rose pink color, and it is a tad lighter, less rose colored than the picture, but still a gorgeous soft pink color. It's seriously so luxurious feeling!Edit: I ended up returning the pink rug because it made my room a little more pink than I was aiming for. I then ordered 2 more colors that I thought I'd add reviews for. The grey, is a very nice, darker solid grey. I then ordered the ivory (note: on other websites this brand has an ivory and a heathered ivory, the ivory listed here is actually the heathered Ivory, not a solid Ivory) it is a gorgeous rug, the absolute perfect neutral color, not so light that I'm worried about dirtying it, not quite beige. It's beautiful. I'll be ordering another one for my living room, I love it so much!

Really soft, durable shag rug. Also not a "bulky" as you'd think most shag rugs would be, which is exactly what I was looking for. Well worth the price.Had a packaged/plasticy smell to it when it arrived, but it'll go away quickly if you keep the room ventilated.Very fast delivery as well. Ordered on a Sunday night, and it was at my place Wednesday when I got off work (estimated delivery window began on Thursday). All-in-all, a great product and excellent service.

Let's start with the fact that this was priced at HALF of what Macy'a had it for on sale. It was shipped very quickly and arrived in great shape. This rug is SNUGGLY BUGGLY SOFT and I really love it. Previously, I had a similar rug from Crate & Barrel (Zia) and it shed terrible and matted down quickly when you walked on it. This KAS rug holds up nicely under traffic and looks great!

When I first bought this rug, I loved its softness, thickness, and pretty ivory color. Now almost one and one-half years later, I'm so disappointed. After just normal wear in a bedroom, the carpet became gray; a professional cleaning service could not get it clean. Please consider buying a color other than ivory!

Received this rug 2 weeks ago. It took a couple of days to get someone to bring it up into my apartment. It was delivered inside the lobby door. A few days later I got some help to lay it on the pad.I love the texture and softness of the pile. It is lighter than expected. I am disappointed that not much brown shows in the pile.However, I can't vacuum it. My Shark vacuum cleaner clings to the rug upon touching it. I tried the hand floor attachment and that too sucked it. Then I used my battery operated sweeper and it got stuck in the pile. I don't know what to do to vacuum it. Any suggestions???

I originally found this rug at Carson's and Macy's. My husband and I loved what we saw, and then I searched for it on Amazon. The price was cheaper here, and to my knowledge, it is the same rug we saw in the stores. Extremely comfortable. Very soft. I have found myself lying on the floor just to admire the softness of this rug. You won't be disappointed! We have already received many compliments after only having it a few days.

I purchased the Ivory White 5' x 7' version of this rug. The rug is very plush and I was happy with the purchase in the beginning, however I am upset with how quickly the rug began to deteriorate. Similar to a previous review, I had this rug in a high traffic area in the middle of a living room, and the material has quickly become matted and gray. It has been well cared for and been vacuumed frequently. No shoes have ever been worn on the carpet, however judging by it's appearance now, you would never know that. I wish I could purchase another one of these because it was looked great in the beginning, but I can't justify it knowing that in just 6 months that this $250 item will be ready to be thrown out.
