The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants: The Complete Collection

I loved the first book. Like too much to put into words. I loved the complex worlds of Bridget, Tibby, Lena and Carmen. I loved the chemistry between them, and how friendship is explained. I'm doing awful at putting it into words.And then there is the second book. Bridget changed almost too fast and wildly, I didn't understand at first. We don't get the school years, so we don't know. I liked Tibby going off, but I only liked it maybe half as much as the first one.And the third. It was better than the second, but not as good as the first. I liked Bridget and Eric meeting again, along with Lena and Kostos. That was an exciting twist. I liked Carmen finding Win, too. Tibby, was a little boring, in my opinion.The fourth. I loved it, I cried. Lena coming out of her shell and Tibby being interesting was wonderful. Carmen was an opposite, invisible. And Bridget will be Bridget. I for sure didn't like it as mush as the first. Not at all.

This series has it's ups and downs, and some big frustrations for me, but I still totally loved it. Maybe because those frustrations are all too real. Life and love are not easy, cookie-cutter things and Ann Brashares really shows that between these characters. It's such a nice story of their friendship and them growing up. It's just a realistic story.***may be deemed spoiler***I don't want to give anything away, but for the sake of the review, I just love that they grow up, they change and have totally different interests, and when they move away it's really hard to still be friends. How true is that for so many of our childhood friendships.

I loved these books and just bought them for my daughter. Hoping she will love the stories as much as I did

I would recommend this book to anyone who like little romance dram and who like to read. It's a really good story. I like the romances between Lena ans Kotos and Bridget and Eric. I dislike how it ended. But I like the sayings "We are everywhere." And in the middle I got discouraged but I keep going slowly and then I was very interested. Don't let the middle stop and and keep reading the series.

Both my daughter and daughter-in-law read the first book and wanted the next ones. When I saw this boxed set and the price amazon was asking for it, couldn't pass it up. It was delivered in terrific shape, like I walked into a book store and picked it up. I can't wait to see them open them up at christmas time. I'm sure I'll have no help with preparing dinner, as they will probably both start reading them.

I am not much of a movie person but my daughter seen the movie just recently and was telling me about it....decided to purchase the Pants Novels and have not been disappointed .....Honestly, I think it only gets better from book 1 to book 4....and you really cannot beat the price....LOVE IT!!

I purchased these specifically because of the cover version advertised- my daughter wanted the colorful version not the more modern realistic version in black and white. I also wanted the box set. I received 4 individual books, not in a set and not of the version advertised. Would not buy again. No time to return and I had to pay for shipping.

Fantastic series! I loved all 4 books. Hated Carmen throughout the series. She is a whiny, selfish 2 year old temper tantrum! This goes to show you how the detail and depth Brashares puts into her character builds. Carmen stuck with me because her crappy attitude made you feel frustrated that the other girls could grow but not her. But half way thru the final book, you feel she has finally realized her failings, and you are so happy she has matured. Awesome character build Brashares👍

I’ve read this as an adult because I used to love the movies when I was a teen ... and I fell in love with the lightness that these books have gave me! I had a very strong friendship with 2 girls growing up and we are still friends ... there are marriages, and a kid, and pets, and new jobs and new homes, and we struggle all the time to stay connected! These books reminded me a little, why we still fight to do so...

I loved every page of these books. They made me laugh, cry, live. What more would you want from books?
