NEBOSH National Diploma Study Book - Unit A: Managing Health and Safety Paperback – 1 Aug. 2016

This is out of date. . the health and safety management system described in the book is OHSAS 18001. The NEBOSH exams require knowledge of ISO 45001 which is not described in any depth. Anyone using this book solely as a revision guide will be at a disadvantage when sitting the Unit A exam. The seller should advise buyers of this and either update the book or add a supplement to it which outlines the current management system. I purchased the book after the changes to the Nebosh syllabus so the seller was aware of these changes at the point of sale . For the price of £85 I expected a course guide which reflects the current syllabus ....

I would not recommend this book. I'm just over halfway into this book and the number of grammar related errors so far are alarming and consistent. Add to that, the authors do not do a good job describing context around complex and some basic situations. For this level of learning, you would have expected someone to have been bothered to proof read this publication. These mistakes are confusing and can be disruptive and slow down the learning process.
