Ashlyn Cabinet White Finish, Large

Our first impression was how well the cabinet was packaged. A lot of thought must have gone into just this end of it. The cabinet itself is relatively easy to assemble and is very sturdy. The instructions are very clear. This is a very good buy. I was going to build a cabinet for our new bathroom myself but we were running out of time before guests arrived so bought this with relatively low expectations. Very glad we did.

Bare with me:1 - There are plenty of these cabinets for sale on any given website that appear IDENTICAL, but are NOT made of the same QUALITY! I first bought "this" cabinet from off of Amazon and the thing was made of such CHEAP pressboard, it wobbled, doors didn't align, long story short the only good thing about it, had good drawer sliders. RETURNED IT immediately, Came to Amazon.2 - Product arrived on time in, 2 days.3 - This product still has pressboard, but the heaviest pieces are wood, solid. Black was out of stock so I got the white and started painting it black while still unassembled. Got to the middle of assembly, all cams were missing. UGH!Contacted seller via phone. RUN AROUND for a week! Provided the seller via return email of what I needed by means of photos of the cams in the instruction manual. Nope! They don't look at the emails, has to be done via their website, where one has to create an acct, that acct produces SPAM adverts, but zero support in getting what I PAID for. About $2 in cams preventing me from assembling the cabinet.4 - Week Two, annoyed I call Amazon. They ask me to reach out to the seller. I did! And now I'm coming to you! I explain I cannot return the cabinet as I have painted it. Have reaches out to seller that is avoiding me. Amazon sends me another cabinet and tells me to get the parts out of that box I need and they will pick the "parts" cabinet in a few days.5 - Replacement "parts" cabinet arrives next day! Carefully opening this box, getting the cams I need. Get to the final step of assembling my cabinet only to discover there are NO PILOT holes to insert doors. Call Amazon again explaining the issue this time and am told to get ALL the parts I need from the new cabinet box. I do.This is WEEK THREE! Of assembling a cabinet that if had all the parts and pilot holes were in place would take seriously less than an hour to assemble! It's that easy!The backerboard is so flimsy and cut in half for shipping purposes for upper and lower I went to hardware store and bought real backerboard for my cabinet, looks better and adds more strength.AMAZON went ABOVE and BEYOND to HELP me with this cabinet and seller! This cabinet by this seller is a GOOD product more so compared to the "LOOK A LIKES" out there. Worth the $344 I spent on it? NOT by half! But in these times EVERYTHING is DOUBLED or MORE. I "NEEDED" this cabinet so I paid the price tag. I do NOT regret it. Only regret is the SELLER!Please people if you order this cabinet, take it out the box and inspect for pilot holes, all the hardware to make sure it is there. IF the side panels are really lightweight, you GOT the BAD QUALITY type! The side panels are some sort of "plastic", but this one the side panels are heavy, solid. The bottom and top of this one is wood. This cabinet does not wobble.*** AGAIN THANK YOU AMAZON! ***

This cabinet looks great and is exactly what I wanted. I do feel it was overpriced for the quality, but it does look nice.I was nervous about the condition it was going to be in after delivery, because many reviews mentioned that the pieces were damaged. Mine was delivered with only one piece damaged and it isn’t very noticeable and did not make a difference in the end.Putting it together was a three person job and took a little over an hour. Would have taken longer if there had only been two of us. The directions can be a little confusing if you don’t take the time to really look them through.Would definitely consider buying another one if it came back in stock.

This is a great pantry. I had a smaller cabinet that just wasn’t holding enough, so I upgraded to this one. It holds quite a bit from cereal boxes, to snacks, to pet food, and pasta. Overall it’s a sturdy piece. The only thing I would call out is the “hinges” for the cabinets were just plastic button type things that recessed into the doors and popped into holes in the cabinet. Not sure if I could get the doors off if I needed to because of this, but it shouldn’t be an issue. They still open and close well. It looks great in the kitchen too.

I love the style and the spaciousness of the unit. That’s all the positive...With that being said, I was disappointed in the overall quality. Normally, I’d say “you get what you pay for”, but this unit wasn’t inexpensive. It’s all painted pressed board which I knew when ordering, the hardware is deficient, actually on the cheap side. A few of the screws stripped so be very careful or just use a quality screw. The rest of the hardware is also cheap which I will replace. One of the side bottom pieces arrived w a crack which was disappointing but I wasn’t about to take it apart. The paint job is a little transparent and you can see imperfections in the pressed board. There were also some minor scratches but I’ve covered them with shelf liner. The directions are horrible, only diagrams and not good ones at that. I’ve put these type of units together before so I had a little knowledge about assembly which still took several hours. Overall, it’s an ok piece but feel it was overpriced for what it is and the inferior hardware and crack didn’t help. Overtime, I’ll probably repurpose it but for now, it’ll serve it’s purpose...

I like this product so far. It is study and I just like the way it looks. I do like the pictures in the instruction manual, but I think the instructions should be written as well. I have a part that is not like the one in the manual and do not know what to do with it. I called tech support yesterday and they still have not called me back. I called again this morning and this afternoon. This is day 2 and I really need to put this together. This is the only thing stopping me from doing so. I know this will look great when it is finished.
