This is not fine furniture, but for kit furniture, I think it's great. The assembly went good, it's a bit intricate, but with patience it went together without flaw. In fact, I believe this is the best kit piece we've ever put together. It feels substantial, especially for such a narrow cabinet. We're painting today and will install in narrow dpace between dishwasher and wall. I love that we found this solution so I can store dish soap, etc in what otherwise would be wasted space. The other slim cabinets were twice the price. This is a fine value for my purpose.

After all was said and done, this is a nice piece added to my small bathroom for extra storage. It fits perfectly in the spot that I needed. One of the pieces (B) was broken and I had to take some gorilla glue to it. After it was screwed in place in multiple places, it was more sturdy. It took me about 2 hours to put it together. The directions can be confusing at times. There was one part that I literally had to study for a few minutes in order to make sure I fully understood what to do. I agree with another reviewer, that some captions or notes would be helpful. None of the screws tightened all the way, so time will tell if it’s a solid piece or not! For $70, I would feel like I got my money’s worth if it were $40, maybe $50.

This shelf is exactly what I needed size wise. It's always hard to find narrow shelves and this is the one. Different size compartments are perfect to keep things organized. Assembly took us some time, given the various shapes of compartments, but the instructions were clear, and it was easy to assemble.

It’s cute and not hard to put together. Everything was drilled properly, Easy to put together and it fits perfectly in the small space I had!

Please look at the photos for a major flaw- when assembled carefully, by an experienced builder, the long drawer was too tall and would not close. The frame was racked. In addition, it can be seen that the top drawer has the extra space needed below.The concept is good and works in a small bathroom to hold lots of small things for guests and extra toilet paper. Some major tweaking might make it more acceptable.To say it is “wood” is pushing the truth. It is very thin press board, not sturdy at all. The scenes provided are tiny because the boards are so thin. The “vintage” knobs are plain, cheap white pulls and cannot be replaced as the wood is so thin a regular knob would have a shaft too long to fit.The cubby on top shows a Kleenex box inside it but you will have to look long and hard to find one that fits in the small compartment.Think twice before purchasing. Although all the screw holes lined up, usually an issue with this kind of ‘furniture’, the panels are not cut to proper sizes - one too small and the big front one too tall. It had to be cut, sanded and painted. Now it fits but is still racked.

I was a bit wary of ordering this due to the reviews about assembly. I will admit, if you're not good at building based on diagrams (as there are no written instructions) you may have difficulty with building this. I didn't have to much of a problem. I would suggest a power drill for putting the screws in to save time. It works very well in my small bathroom to hide all my toiletries in an easy to access space.

I read all the reviews before buying so I felt like I knew what I was getting myself into since comment after comment states putting it together is time consuming. Honestly it is! However to drastically cut down your time use a drill and screw in any of the pre-assembled parts. By doing that it makes it much sturdier. I also suggest reading/looking at the ENTIRE instruction guide then starting. I don't know how many times I took the damn thing apart because I missed 1 thing in the directions so read it BEFORE then read it again while putting it together.I guess I should give it 5 stars since I really like the mini bathroom storage! I have 2 toddlers so I use it to store underwear incase of accidents, wipes, pull-up etc and it doesn't look "junky" like the clear storage towers.

Dear Amazon buyerLet me preface this by saying I have never had a better time out a shelf together. It took a bottle of gin 5hrs and 2 girlfriends of mine to put this bad boy together. Granted we took breaks for sure and 2 of those hours were spent on the friggen hinges (Buyer beware those tiny screws are the devil himself) In all honesty I haven’t put anything in it yet but as it sits now it’s a sturdy little guy and hopefully he will hide the stuff I need it too. Fingers crossed! I’m going to bed now.

I love this cabinet, lots of parts to put together, was time consuming, but once together, was very sturdy, fit in the space I needed quite nicely.,
