I Love-it but I have to face-it, it's not good... Well, I would say not bad but not good. I don't know if I will keep using-it. Here what's going on. After trying to print with PLA unsuccessfully (ya PLA...), I did have to add Glue-stick and slow down, I mean Way slow. My first layer has to be 30% of the normal speed, the speed down to 40mm/s, lower the first layer height 75% and even increase the extrusion multiplier 5%. Than I got result. As you can bet it stuck very well. Here the second issue, that tape is like 2/3 to 1/2 of the thickness of the blue tape than it rip. I did 3 print on it at 3 different place and now the all surface need to be replace. I normally print a all week with the blue one.It's a fantastic idea poorly executed. Probably to keep the price down they sacrifice the quality of the product. The material and texture are not good enough for me to recommend-it at all

I was looking on Amazon for painter's tape and came across your product. I'm not really sure what 3D printing is, but I race my sports car on the racetrack and we often use blue painters tape on the front end and hood of the car--to protect it while on the track from road debris. Your tape is 8 inches wide, and most painter's tape is 2 to 3" wide, thus I decided to buy it. Worked well, except for leaving some glue residue. Most blue painters tape won't leave glue residue if you have it on the car for only a few days. On the other hand, the red matched the color of my car!

Easier to apply and remove than almost any other tape I've tried. So long as I use a good sized skirt or a raft I've had no issues with prints that either won't adhere to the bed or are impossible to remove. Haven't needed to use any tools when removing prints with this tape at all actually. Blue tape sometimes refused to let prints go in one piece so I like that quite a bit. I doubt I'll have trouble seeing a print on this as I don't use filament even close in color, black shows up great. Makes it quicker to check periodically for errors.To install the tape I'm putting a piece out on a wax paper type thing and cutting to bed size. Any other way is difficult to get the tape on without wrinkles. The tape has about an extra inch on one side for my bed size so there is some room for error.I think the roll will last quite a while from how it's been so far. Only changed once because my watch ripped it, and already printed 6 prints which took a whole day. I think the tape that came with the printer was like 4 prints max before it needed to be redone.Keep in mind I'm using an Xyz da vinci jr 3 in 1 that has a glass printing bed that does not heat up. I prefer less print adhesion with this printer. If you have used one you are aware of the common frustrations in sure. It's a picky machine.

The tape does not really stick to the bed sp the corners that would have peeled off the tape instead peel the tape off the bed. Back to my old method of 3m super 77

Love this tape but it is very hard to get off the roll without tearing it.

Easy to install, but no better than the buildtak sheet I had (which was not that great).

I have a small 3D printer and I have had mixed results with painters tape. Most of it ok but it is not big enough for one sheet to cover my print base. This 3D printer tape fits and is easy to apply. So far I have not had any prints come off the bed and I am not using a glue stick. I love it so far.

This tape is worthless. I used it with a Makerbot and a custom built 3D printer and the prints do not stick to it, which is the whole point of using it. The Makerbot's prints will stick to the bed even without tape, but adding this tape caused all the prints to warp. Don't wast your money on this and get blue painter's tape instead.
