This Red laser is much brighter than my 328Ft LOMVUM LV66U Laser Measuring Device
This measuring device is very accurate and consistent and can be seen at much greater distances than my LOMVUM LV66U that is rated for the same distance as this DeWeisn LS-100, I installed 1.5V Lithium AAA batteries in both Laser Measuring Devices. One thing that I would like it to be better with is the beep sound when you click the button to take the distance reading- I wish the sound was louder or adjustable to get louder. Also good is the tripod mount, the LV66U doesn't have it, also this LS-100 has 99 memory locations vs 20 for the LOMVUM - I do like the white on black constant ON display of the LOMVUM better though.

OK at its most
inaccurate web photos misleading this product to a higher unit, but the one I received is totally different model, quality is OK at its best. basic functions work fine. there is NO digital tilter ( digital bubble leveler) and one horizontal physical bubble is also missing. Without a carrying case and price is on the higher side so it's not what I was expecting, the web photos and descriptions should be revised in order not to mislead more buyers.otherwise, it's a working laser tape.

Great indoors.
This tool is great! It’s very accurate and easy to use indoors. However, I got the 200’ laser and it is useless at that distance outdoors during the day. The laser just isn’t bright enough. At night and during low-light conditions, it works well. The longest reading during the day is about 60’ and that was against a bright white object.

2nd unit purchased and neither one turned on out of box
has anyone been able to use this tool? i purchased one, put provided batteries in and it would not turn on. this was defective from the start, no worries, i returned it to get a second one delivered. i open the box put the batteries in and still does not even turn on. is there any quality control for electrical on this product?

Accuracy
Compared it to an actual tape measure and a phone app digital tape measure and it was spot on with the Tape measure and more accurate then the app. For it's performance and the cost- totally pleased!
