This is the iconic candy (or sweet as the British say) from the long-running TV show Doctor Who. The 4th Doctor played by the amazing Tom Baker made these candies world famous with his "Care for a Jelly Baby?" bit. They are especially used to great effect in the funny story "The Pirate Planet". Try them out for yourself at a great price!These are the real thing and are made in England. They differ from gummy bears, gummy worms, etc. in that they have a fine coating of flour on them that reduce the chance of them sticking together. They also have a much stronger and more natural tasting fruit flavor than most gummies do. This set comes in apple, lime, orange, strawberry, black currant, lemon and raspberry flavors and is actually made with the real juices of those fruits so you can tell which one you have without even having to look at the color. The colors of them are made with plant extracts rather than artificial as well. These are not diet candies though. They have about 5 grams of sugar per candy. The good side of that is that they don't have artificial sweeteners in them which aren't necessarily good for you anyway.They come in plastic bags rather than the cardboard boxes that some other brands do (although those brands put a plastic bag inside the box anyway). the bags are easy to tear open, so you'll not need scissors. On the back of the bag, you'll see that the Jelly Babies even have names: Brilliant, Boofus, Bumper, Baby Bonny, Bubbles and Big Heart, which is quite cute. You get 130 grams or 4.5 ounces of jellies per bag, so it's a good value for imported stuff.Enjoy! Best brand of jelly babies. Discovered these in the UK, while on vacation. I tried some others, but I liked these best.

My husband loves Doctor Who, so I got these to make a gift basket for him. The flavor was good, the texture was not what I am accustomed to, and everything was covered in a powder like corn starch. It would help them to not stick together. I don't regret the purchase, but I'm not adding more to my cart any time soon either.

I gave one star because they arrived quickly. Otherwise the Jelly Babies were melted and stuck together in all 3 packets. They had to have been stored incorrectly. Very disappointing, these were meant as Christmas Gifts.

While watching Classic Doctor Who. I realized that I needed to try the famous Jelly Babies. They are just as I expected and very good! They have that powdered sugar coating to keep them from sticking together, which also adds a little extra to the sweet. I love that they are naturally colored and flavored! No dyes or weird chemicals.

I bought these because I am a huge Doctor Who fan and wanted to see what they tasted like.Somehow, I had expected them to have a thicker texture. Maybe something a bit more like a gummy bear but larger. It’s very different.There are multiple colors, but there does not seem to be any flavor variation between them. The texture is difficult to describe, but it almost collapses in your mouth as soon as it hits the tongue - like a pile of sugar. (Which is likely what it is)It was a four pack, so I gave the other three away to a friend of mine who absolutely loves them.

Arrived about 4 weeks earlier than expected since they were shipped from the UK, so lovely surprise. Great pricing relative to what you might pay in retail stores. Love them!
