The price / value for this RC car is excellent - less than $30 for an RC car with included remote, 2 rechargeable batteries with charging cable for the car and batteries for the controller, manual, screwdriver to access the battery compartment (more on this later). It's all contained in the package.There are some issues though, which may frustrate some people:- I've played video games all my life, but found the control mechanism hard to use. If you look at the close up pictures of the controller - it looks like a low-end video game controller. But.. there are fake buttons on the front (what would be called the L/R buttons). Minor nit - but those seem like they are just meant to look like a more capable controller but are only for show. The two control sticks though are the more frustrating part. To make the car go forward you have to push up on both sticks at the same time - which doesn't sound too tricky but in practice it's not easy to make it go in a straight line (see my video). You inevitably cause it to go slightly to the left or right first before it just goes forward. This seems like a design issue, but maybe with a lot more practice it would be easier. If all a 5yr kids cares about is goofing around with this, that's fine. But if I wanted to jump a ramp or make it go in a particular direction to chase a furry friend.. well the controls are just lacking. I would much prefer a control stick like an analogue stick on a gaming controller - push forward to go forward and slight left to turn, etc. The other control mechanisms could then be for the stunt aspects. Perhaps a young kid would be fine with these controls, but to anyone who's driven a Halo Warthog - they leave something to be desired.- the little screwdriver is a nice touch to be included for the battery access, but 1) I wish it wasn't necessary - maybe an easier battery compartment such that the intended audience (kids) could change it out more easily and 2) unless I missed something - there's not an easy place to store the screwdriver. Maybe next time add a compartment in the controller to store it.Overall - I give it 4 stars because of the value. Great for a certain age range of kids (4-7 or so I think), but for older kids who want to do more or have better control of things - you might want to get something more advanced.. which would of course cost more money. I just can't help but think a version 2.0 of this could have the control issues fixed and go from great value to outstanding value.

This RC is so much fun! The controls are well explained on a manual and will take a little while to get used to, but that doesn’t keep you from enjoying this stunt RC instantly.Even though it’s meant for older kids my 2 and 4 year olds are having a blast with adult supervision!!The included extra battery can keep you going longer with a quick replacement.

I really like this car. It says it is for age group 6 years old up and it sounds about right. The packaging is well thought through. The box comes with a screw driver, spare batteries, so if you open it on X-mas morning, you don't need to look for tools to get it going. The set-up took about 5 minutes. Very easy. The controller is solid, but of course it is not a xbox/playstation quality. The car itself is really well made. You are getting a very good quality product, I think. The toy is fairly fast, flips easily when hits an obstacle, has LED lights to indicate the front and so you know the direction the toy is going.I am very happy with the purchase.

This was purchased for Christmas last year and I was excited to see what it could do. Once I unboxed it and charged up the batteries I started a test drive...The controller thumbsticks are wired backward. The left and right sticks do not work together. To move forward you have to press the left stick forward and the right stick backward. As annoying as this is, it is not a deal breaker. (purchased another one and it did not have that issue) The RC car is quite durable and seems well built. The controller is a little cheaper but does work. At the time of purchase, I was unaware that the controller was an "on/off" controller. Meaning that when you press the thumbsticks forward, nothing happens until it gets to the "on" position. There is no speed control which is fine but it makes it difficult for little kids to drive this at first.

This stunt car is very cool!The design looks great and material seems sturdy.Good control with the remote.Also, i like the fact that it came with two rechargeable batteries and even had a screwdriver which meant everything i need is inside the package which i really liked it.

This toy is fast and durable, but it's tough to control. The controls are delayed and super twitchy, so by the time it careens towards a wall and you try to stop it, it's too late. Not great for indoor use. The controller isn't traditional where it's throttle on the left and steering on the right, each of the control sticks simply controls the wheels on the respective side of the toy, like a tank. This takes a lot of getting used to. And, when the toy flips over, now you have to flip the controls in your head. Not recommended. Not defective so I won't return it, but won't buy one again.

LOVE this car. No having to reset it or set it upright, it just goes, goes, goes. Easy to charge and thankfully came with two sets of batteries, because they get used! Great seller and great product!
