Amazingly fine lines, BEST option for writing in small bibles.
Hands down THE BEST pen I have found for writing notes in the margins of a small bible. I have tried EVERY disposable technical drawing pen I can find on the market today, and this one makes a line so much smaller, finer, and readable at such tiny size than any other pen. It makes a significantly finer line than my previous "best" option, the Stadler pigment liner 0.05 , allowing me to fit approximately 50% more text in the non-existent margins of my tiny pocket bible.I can't speak to how this will hold up under heavy drawing use, as I am only writing with it very slowly and gently to make incredible small no-bleed words on delicate bible paper. Disclaimer: I am fortunate enough to still have excellent vision. Any of my friends who suffer from even slightly degraded vision have been unable to make out the letters I write with this pen.For writing compact, slow text in a bible, I would give this pen 7 stars if I could! Try it, you'll never go back!== UPDATE 4/11/2016 ==I'm still in love with these pens. I'm updating this review to add some photos of the tiny letters that can be written with this pen.Shown in the photos is an Eneloop AAA battery for scale. Pictured is my Oxford Ruby pocket bible, circa 1975.Note that in some photos, you will see two different thickness texts. The thinner one is the incredible thinness of this Uchida pen, and the thicker line is either the Stadler pigment liner 0.05 or a 005 Sakura Pigma Micron pen, the second smallest pens I've found and what I used to use before switching to Uchida. In the photos take note of:Acts 3: the size of the word "pentecost" written with this Uchida pen, and the other words written with the Stadler / Sakura.Luke 16: "lamp" written with Stadler / Sakura and "presence of God, pray to God first." written with this Uchida.

Great for drawing
I bought this as an option for my baby book as it was the recommended brand. I wasn’t sure which pen to get so I got this and another style of Le Pen. This one writes very smoothly and is very fine tipped but I can see it being used more for artists and drawing than what I purchased it for.

Fine point is awesome but fragile!
I love the extremely fine point and fine line that this pen offers. It is much finer than any other pens I've tried which has allowed me to experiment with a new drawing tool and technique. With the lines being so very small, it takes numerous strokes to add definition and then more to shade. It turns out to have a neat effect. The last image is for comparison. It was drawn with a Sakura 06 Gelly Roll. There's a huge difference.Unfortunately, the super fine tip is also very fragile. After drawing just a couple pictures, the tip is literally gone. The same thing happened to my daughters pen, also used for drawing.

Don’t buy
Was really looking forward to these pens to use in my Bible. Unfortunately, both of them write as if they were dried up.

...Really?
I just received the package in the mail and tested it to find that it doesn't work. I'm very disappointed with this product and I don't recommend it. Im not sure if it's just my pen, because everyone else seems to have their pens work, but mine has deffinatly dried out or just plain has no ink. I've tried every way that might fix it and it still makes really poor lines. I understand this is only $5.00, but still... Really? If your not sure if you want to buy this, first please go look for more pens ( different brand ).

Works well with watercolors
I've been using Micron pens to draw underlying outlines for my watercolors for years, but occasionally would find them smearing with wetter washes. My local artist supply recommended these pens to me, and I tested them against Micron and Faber-Castell Pitt Artist Pens, and the LePen held up the best after very short drying times (under 5 minutes) to watercolors. So far, so good, and best of all, my lines are still there after I add the color! As other reviewers noted, the tips are somewhat fragile, but I tend towards a larger 0.3 tip, which isn't as delicate as the 005 or 0.1 tips, and I haven't encountered any tip breakage or bending yet. I do try to use a lighter hand with any ultra fine tip pen, though, to try to conserve the pen for the life of the ink reserve! I hate breaking a tip when the pen is still full of ink!
