Great touch conversion kit, especially for this price.
This review is not a professional one, just give you folks an impression. I don't have much to compare with, and I just got my frame today, maybe will update if discover anything new or different.This is a low budget attachment to a 24" monitor that makes it touch responsive. The material looks nice, and build quality has nothing to complain about. I don't expect my frame to experience any mechanical strain, so hope it will last forever ;-)There were no assembly instructions with this item, but the parts were color-arrow labeled, so the assembly was trivial and did not require guidance. A small Philips screwdriver will be needed for assembly, this is not included. I ordered this unit without glass, and it came in a tube packaging, very neatly put together with shock absorbers, de-humidifier pack, all wrapped in thick plastic.Had no problem plugging in through a KVM USB switch with keyboard and mouse connected as well. When tried to connect through KVM plus keyboard (my keyboard has USB pass-through), it did not give the frame enough power to start, but again for USB multi-LED infrared device on chained USB hubs I won't expect this. So power consumption is reasonable.Double side adhesive tape was included, but I mounted with mine (without any reason), and confirmed compatibility with Windows 7 (multi-finger, precision, works without glass layer), Windows Server 2003, and Mac OSX 10.10.5 Yosemite - I think it will work with all modern systems.With glass layer removed (which I wanted) fingers are detected in about half-inch from the monitor surface, this is expected.Resolution and scanning speed are more than enough for activity you do with a mouse, but I don't think it's suitable for an artist (and this item doesn't claim to fit this purpose). So I could easily make my signature on the screen with a finger, but handwriting in Windows 7 was a struggle, and I couldn't draw smooth curves in GIMP on OSX.That's it. So far, I am happy with this thing, maybe will order one more for my second monitor (if these can co-exist on the same machine).
