JLPT N3 Nihongo Somtome Reading Dokkai Asuku

I sort of used this and I passed the N3
I passed the JLPT N3 this past year, through using this series even though I did not complete all of the books. I actually did not read through most of this book. I did some of the readings at the beginning of the book and would have done better on the reading portion, well I probably would have completed the last two readings on the test, if I had went through this whole book. The readings at the back of this book are similar in length to the readings on test. I definitely suggest working through some kind of JLPT books if you are planning to take the test, because having a Japanese major and going to Japan for a few months to study will not guarantee you know the material on the test or that you can pass it.

Great quality and helpful
It was in very good condition, just mild highlighting. Very helpful in comprehending N3 reading questions.

If you only get 2, get this one and the grammar book.
This and the Grammar book are the most useful and important of the set in my opinion. I believe I benefitted the most of these two. Excellent study tools.

Good book to prepare N3 on your own
Very good book to study by themselves for N3.Each day you study a particular topic and all related expressions and kanjis. The translations in 3 languages do not leave much rooms to more examples or exercises. Some kanjis are unfortunately not transcribed in hiragana because it is assumed you know it already; this is a disadvantage for studying by themselves. In any case I would surely reccomend this book.

Great Book To Learn The JLPT Test Structure
This book was great for many reasons. One however sticks out. After doing the reading every day for 6 weeks exactly like the book asked I would say my reading improved for sure. The definite advantage it gave me on the JLPT though was that I was able to learn how the actual JLPT asks questions. After going through each of these essays and answering the questions you realize a pattern the JLPT asks. Things like "what's the main point of the essay" or "what isn't said in the essay". I started looking for these automatically as I was reading towards the end of the books lectures and was able to answer the questions faster and easier because I didn't have to look back as much. I could mentally take a note of what the main topic was or what exactly was said so I'd know what wasn't said. For that alone I'd recommend this book. My highest score on the JLPT N3 was in the reading section if that says anything!

Muy útil
Ha llegado en perfecto estado. El título no se corresponde con la foto, por suerte quería el libro de readings (la foto) y es el que he recibido. Encuentro muy útiles los textos y el vocabulario y se hace muy sencillo llevar constancia en el estudio, lo usaría incluso sin tener que preparar el N3.

Missing the answer booklet
I bought this book to help me prepare for the N3 exam in July, it came with slight water damage on the back which isn’t a huge deal for me as I’m concerned with the contents only. But when I went to review the answers, I found that it was supposed to come in a small booklet attached. It was not included.
