Actually quite nice. Larger than expected. A bit dusty, but a quick wash took care of it.

Everyone in the house was happy about these stones. I bought them as a gift for my best friend. Before I showed them to my friend, I gave one stone to her son (10 years old). He was super excited because apparently Lapis Lazuli are mentioned a lot in a game he plays. He said it was like I gave him gold. Then he held on to the piece all day. What we did not expect was how the stone would brighten and deepen in color. So we all took a stone and held it. The same thing happened to each of us. The pictures attached show two different stones from the same order. The darker, brighter one got that way after I held it for a few minutes. I highly recommend and expect to order again in the future.

These are really nice stones. I got a pound and only 3 or 4 out of the 16 or so did not have much blue on them. So in other words the rest of them are this awesome blue color. A lot of them have pyrite (fool's gold) in them so that adds more to their unique color also even one of the ones that didn't have much blue had alot of pyrite so that was cool. I'm mainly in to getting stones like this because of my interest in geology and I don't have a tumbler right now but I do want to tumble a few of them when I eventually get one, but I won't tumble most of them. I really like them just the way they are. One thing I do recommend though is to wet them and brush them with a soft toothbrush and then let them dry because they are a bit dusty when you get them. This is just natural and they are easy to clean off.

Decent stones, have in display now. MAJOR disappointment: the main reason I ordered this lapis it said was from Afganistan. Our youngest son and oldest grandson are Afganistan veterans, and being a Viet Nam veteran myself wanted a bit of Afganistan in display to represent thier service there. Card that accompaned stones stated "Product of Pakistan." This is very disheartening, especially on Veterans Day. Amended 11/12/2015 Seller contacted me with explanation that stones were mined in Afganistan and packaged in Pakistan. Which sounds reasonable to me having worked in mining related industry for over 45 years, including 25 years of acual mining. FYI: Dont be disappointed with stones before you have washed and scrubbed them, that is when true colors emerge.

These are really nice! The picture in the description has a bit more blue than the batch I got, but the rocks are pretty darn blue (once I washed the dust off them). The dust is just rock residue, so it's no problem. My batch had some pyrite which looks like flecks of gold, so that was a fun surprise. I enjoy the history of art pigments, so it's fun to actually have the source for natural ultramarine blue.I would have given five stars if they had as much blue as the picture, but it's close enough. You won't be disappointed.

I received my lapis lazily stones today. And I must say I am very pleased I received a great bunch the lot of them are beautiful 100 percent real lapis lazily raw stones. I will be ordering from them again . I am very pleased. Delivered on time as stated. I am very happy with my purchase. I rinse them and say them in the sun for 30 min I felt the power off these stones right away. Very powerful

I received about 16 useable stones (for necklaces StitchStoneSketch on Etsy) and they all looked great. While packaging could have been better to prevent some breakage (it was just stones in a clear plastic bag with a shipping label on it), I got everything I needed and more!

There were fewer samples of the rich blue lapis lazuli than I'd hoped for, but then it was a "bulk" sample. Previous bulk samples I'd purchased from this supplier had contained excellent quality pieces and I was quite pleased with the package. As these will be used in the creation of orgone devices and will be broken into smaller pieces, visual quality is somewhat less important than if I was planning to polish them. I've ordered several other packages from this supplier and have been pleasantly surprised with the quality of the samples. Otherwise, would have rated 5 stars.

Mine weighed 410g, which is about 0.9kg. I weighed them wet but I doubt that would affect weight too much. See my photos to see exactly what I received. Nowhere near as good as the product photo but I'm still excited to polish these up.

Some lapis is known as denim jeans with white stone mixed with lapis, I got some white not shown in the picture. Im happy with my stones I received and for a good price, sure there's some dust but just water the stones to show the lapis.
