Aesthetically pleasing though too light to lie completely flat
I bought this as a playmat for my baby, as I wanted something bright and colourful but that wouldn’t look too childish in our home. Visually it looks great, the colours are really nice and the carpet is soft enough to cushion the baby when he falls. However, the carpet has no weight to it, and the corners curl up, which is a constant trip hazard. We have had to put something heavy at each corner to prevent this. In terms of value for money I am happy with this purchase, just beware that it doesn’t have the heft/weight of a proper/more expensive area rug.
