Dee Zee DZ92740XB (43 gallon) Auxiliary Diesel Fuel Transfer Tank - Black Aluminum

I bought this for the tool box. But I also wanted a auxiliary fuel tank for when I'm towing my 5th wheel. It was easy to install in the bed of the truck. I bought the deezee auxiliary fuel kit to tie into my fuel line and that was kind of a pain to get done but all said when I finished I love it.

I use auxiliary fuel tanks on several trucks in my business and from other manufacturers. The quality of this tank is comparable to any. I am pleased with the added feature of having the toolbox integrated with the tank, it is not large but facilitates the items I need most in my vehicle for emergencies. I use this set up as an auxiliary tank not a transfer tank and it works well for me.

If I were at home when product arrived I would have refused delivery, box was obviously damaged but driver left it anyhow. I attempted to straighten as best I could but you can still see where it was caved in…….every time I get in my truck. Very disappointed in delivery service,they ruined a very nice looking and functional transfer tank/toolbox combo. Other than that issue it’s a very good combo unit.

When tank arrived it had a sharp gouge in a front bottom seam of the tank. The box was damaged all over. It looks like fork lift damage on a product of very light weight. One of the mounts was bent completely up to the tank. I tried to pry it out, but as often happens with aluminum, it broke off. The tank is light and the tool box will be useful. 43 gallons is very adequate for my needs without extra bulk and weight. It does sit low enough to be covered by the Rebak tonau cover I have on the bed. Overall it is a good product that was unnecessarily damaged in shipping.

It is just what I wanted. Delivery time was a day early. But tool box lid had dent on edge of it stands out like a smashed finger and 2 dents on front side. And a few scratches.

Works well. Brackets came in bent but no problem to straighten it back out. Tool box has good room as well.
