THERMOSElement 5 Lunch Lugger Food Saver

After tried several lunch bags, I finally chose this one for my own use. It's really interesting to see the reviews because I found that there're at least 2 or 3 of the negative reviews are because of the size. Well, the size instruction is there I don't think it's the problem of the produt right? One of the most helpful review did really make a clear explanation about what is FLEX A GUARD liner. However, I really didn't find anything in the product page to say this specific bag includes FLEX A GUARD liner. Yes of course it doesn't because it's NOT can cooler, it's just a lunch bag. So if you are looking for a can cooler then this is really not what you want. However, if you are looking for a ,unch bag, I strongly recommend this product from Thermos. It has the same insulation technology from Thermos, you can find multiple pockets good for forks, spoons, tissues, etc. More importantly, it has a smart design which enables you to take a beverage bottle with ease. For the size, I think it's better for two people than one. That might possibly explain why some buyers are complaining the size issue because it IS bigger than the one person lunch bag. Considering the unique design and unique technology of Thermos, I think this product does really deserve better credit than it seems like.

My husband takes lunch to work every day - yes, I pack it for him. I've spent a lot of money in the last few years on cheap can coolers and etc, trying to get the right blend of space and shape for his very particular (and rigid) lunch needs. This lunch lugger does it for me. It holds two sandwich sized Lunch Bots boxes (or one Lunch Bots and one pint canning jar depending on whether it's a sandwich day or a soup day!), a half pint wide-mouth canning jar, a 16 ounce Kids Konserve dish, a mozzarella stick, one hard boiled egg, and a one-liter Sigg bottle neatly, with a little room to spare for occasional extras. The front zipper pocket is perfect for odds and ends - flatware, etc. Love it!

This lunch Lugger is great for my husbands needs. He can carry everything he likes in it for his lunches. Inside wipes clean easily. One thing I think would make it better would be a thicker inside lining for it. You need to not put anything sharp in it like a knife or fork as it probably would poke through. Have to put those things in zip front pocket only.

This bag is great, but it really is very large. It will be perfect for my son to bring to school to store a variety of snacks and lunch with plenty of room for ice packs. The front zipper bag is long enough to hold his Thermos Funtainer 16 oz drink bottle! My son is picky and needs a big bag, but most would find it really big for lunch.

I have been using this as a lunch container, and it works great for that purpose. My food stays cold with a single freezer pack for 6-8 hours. It has more than enough space to meet the needs for one person. The only issue is that the main zipper gets snagged on the inside liner sometimes.

I originally bought the Thermos Lunch Lugger Combo from Target...this is a replacement food saver...it came with The Rock Thermos 1 liter vacuum bottle which I have since bought 2 more....this fits perfectly in the trunk of my motorcycle for when I am bringing my lunch to work

Be aware that the bottom is not reinforced, so that if you place anything of any weight - like a pint or larger bottle of water - in the cooler, it will sag significantly. I like the shape, so I will work on creating a hard plastic bottom for it. That should distribute the load to the perimeter of the bottom. Also, it should be mentioned that the interior lining is loose, rather than sewn, and will adhere to anything wet - like the damp exterior (damp from condensation) of a bottle of water.

I bought two bags to carry my lunch for work. This bag is simple and it works. I put two ice packs on bottom and it keeps everything cold. No complaints at all. I actually bought this bag as a back up bag and now it's my daily bag,. Nice bag !!!!

This is my 3rd lunch bag. The main zipper will only last a year. I do like the size and it insulates well so I just keep replacing them as the price is quite good.Another American brand made in china

Great lunch bag. Holds up well, but could use some improvement on the zipper. This is based on me having used Thermos lunch bags for years. Maybe if they could install a better zipper, it might last a lot longer. That's the reason I purchased this one. My old Thermos zipper broke and was become annoying to use without closing the bag. Overall, a great lunch bag. Will buy it again if needed.

Feels pretty durable, the insulation feels ok… but not perfect. This will definitely keep sandwich’s cool and or drinks cold if kept in the shade.The bag is quite large

I purchased this for my husband who is hard on all things he works with including lunch bags. I didn't think it would be wide enough (just by the picture). It's is long and wide enough to.hold enough food for him for a 18 hr shift. He loves and I love that he loves it.

Initial review: Great value for money, very durable (my husband uses it for the job site to carry his lunch, snacks, and personal items), and food items stay cool throughout the day.Update: Less than six months from purchase and the main-compartment zipper ripped, which renders it useless. Now I have to look for a new one in this size, which seems impossible!
