We lucked out in that the fossil feeder totally matched our kitchen island! That aside, I was happy that the fossil color is a grayish and relatively homogenous-looking item. In the stock photo, it looks like there are patchy/stripey colors of reddishness and brownishness and I wasn't sure if I'd like it. But in real life, it was....well it was how it looks in the pictures attached! It's modern and cool, and high-end looking. I have to look at it every day so I feel that it's worth the money. I love the ceramic bowls.... stainless often looks cold and uninviting. Totally sturdy. Awesome purchase.

Purchased 2 of these — 1 set each for both of my dogs. One set had a chip in the wood that had become dislodged in shipping. The stain in both sets had not been sealed or set, because upon coming into contact with water (Hello, its a dog bowl set.), the stain leaked onto my hardwood floors and stained them. Most of the stain eventually came up, but the outline of the stain still appears on the hardwood floors.Beautiful product, but for $146 per set, I would’ve expected better craftsmanship. If you purchase these, please stain them yourself before using.

I ordered the double bowl medium feeder April 9th 2019. I love the look of it and was getting ready to order another as a gift, but today I noticed that one of the bowls the paint is flakin off of the bowl. This makes ver very concerned and would like a replacement bowl seeing that I have only had it for 5 weeks. These bowls have not been washed in the dishwasher. I will change my review upon hearing back from the seller.

A bit pricey, but... bowls and stand are as spectacular in person as in the photo. Very nice quality! Medium is perfect size for my full grown Australian Shepherd. Sharp looking ceramic bowls and wood is solid. Highly recommend if you want something a bit more classy for your home or apartment. Lower to the ground than most stands, which is actually better for the dog. The medium size is compact enough to fit in most areas and bowls are deep, not shallow at all.

UPDATE:It’s three years since I purchased the feeder and it still looks like new. Rascal has a pal now so I wish the stand also came as a triple. I will probably just buy the single and put the water in the middle bowl when they are together.I love this feeder, it put Rascals food at the proper height so he can eat without bending down. He’s eating and drinking easier now.Not only is this feeder ergonomically correct, but it looks fabulous on my new wood kitchen floors. The contemporary design goes anywhere. I purchased the small feeder which holds about 1 1/2 cups of dry food. The square bowls are the proper shape to allow cats to eat without their whiskers touching the sides (very important for their comfort). I purchased an additional set of bowls so one set can be in the dishwasher. The cost is a little pricey but well worth the it. It makes up for all the feeders I purchased and threw away. I wish I had seen this one first.

I was delighted by its simple beauty. Exact ly like the picture on Amazon. Well made, sturdy. The wood is a sort of beigey gray, hard to describe but lovely, like the picture. The bowls are of good size and weight. Iwent with small for my Maltese due to her short body and it’s the perfect height for her. The set was a tad more expensive but you get what you pay for. Reviews of the cheaper wood stands indicate that the wood gets moldy around the bowls. I particularly love that this feeding station arrives fully assembled. I have 100% confidence that I made the correct choice.

Great feeder for large lab and golden and lab mix, I ended up getting the double feeder for the food and the single for the water. Water will drip on the wood and damage it over time. I purchased the walnut, the pictures are terrible on Amazon, the wood is more brown and red not the grey it seems to show in the photos, or maybe it's my computer. How ever I do highly recommend this feeder. I only gave it 4 stars because I purchased a used one from Net Pet Shop, the distributor, and it did not state there was anything wrong with the feeder, however once I received it, the support board between the two bowls was broken. I have called the company and I am waiting to hear back. Fingers crossed they can just send out the wood and not have to repack the bowls and all.

I got this because my cat kept knocking over her water bowl and this has definitely put a stop to her ability to do that which is GREAT. I got the small instead of the extra small and at first I wasn’t sure if I had gotten the right size but I think small for regular size cat is the right size. The only thing I don’t like about it is the bowls are square which can make it hard for her to “clean her bowl” so I wish the bowls were round/rounded, but not having to constantly clean up spilled water is worth it. The other slight disappointment was my holder is all one color with no wood grain or color differentiation, but I saw some others didn’t like that.. personal preference I guess. I’m trying to be careful about not getting water on the wood holder but will be interested to see how well it holds up over time. Also, it’s pretty pricey, but again I wanted something that looked nice that she couldn’t knock over so I splurged.
