We did not like the button arrangement, but it does have range
The range is good, the size is amazingly small, but the up down buttons seem to most presenters to be in the wrong order. Laser is good and it matches the range. We were looking for a two button remote for speakers that are easily confused. We like the remotes that go left and right as that's what they get used to. This is up and down, and the down button actually advances the slides whereby the up button reverses. We'll keep it as a backup, but it will not be a primary device to hand someone who's never operated it before.

More than expected!
I was surprised when I got this in the mail and I opened the packaging. This product comes with everything except the battery. Inside you'll find that the box itself is very well padded with a nice foam that the presenter fits snugly into but is easy to remove, as well as a nice cloth bag that you can use to store and carry the unit in should the box be too much. There's also information talking about setup of this product and the box is more than big enough to store extra batteries if you need them. The laser pointer works just like any over the counter pointer and will not work on backlit displays, but will work just fine on projected images. On top of all of this the unit feels great in the hand and is easy to get use to.In all, if you're looking for a cheap, simple presenter this is the one for you.

Works Well
Easy to set up. Recognized by PC immediately. Works out to at least 50 feet. The receiver is tiny, the transmitter fits well in your hand. The only drawback, and it's minor, the device seems very light or maybe a bit flimsy. I've been using it for my classes for quite a few months. I'd recommend this 'clicker.'

Everything you need in a presentation tool.
This is a fantastic laser pointer and clicker combo! At first I was skeptical about the button layout after reading other reviewers talk about the forward/back arrows seeming reversed, but after only a few minutes of use I realized that the current layout makes the most sense and is the most comfortable. The laser is a good quality, not too much scatter- especially for the price point- and plenty bright to reach across a large room.I appreciated the tactile feedback with small raised bumps on the forward/back arrows, and a smooth button for the laser. The USB dongle is magnetically captured, so you don't have to worry about losing it, which is great! Also, there is no installation or setup necessary. The second that I plugged in the USB I was already in control of my presentation. It also comes with a little baggy which is helpful to store the pointer, or maybe some extra batteries.Overall, I'm impressed with the purchase and will likely buy again. Highly recommend for anyone giving presentations in a professional or academic environment.

DANGEROUS!
BEWARE--I thought this remote was great, until I had a battery explosion incident TWICE with two different units. The first time, the remote was working great until one day, I felt it get really hot in my hand. I opened the battery compartment to find out that the battery had started leaking inside the remote, so I threw it away. Fine, I thought--maybe it was an old battery. BUT, then I purchased a second, brand new remote, and made sure to change the batteries every month (btw I use Duracell, not cheap batteries). Still, a few months after I bought the remote and during normal usage, I felt the unit get really hot. Suddenly, battery acid started leaking through the remote, and the plastic was melting everywhere. I'm lucky that I didn't get hurt!! This is definitely NOT a good option--there is something defective about this remote!

Now my boss wants one, too.
Last October, I gave a presentation at a conference and borrowed a clicker that didn't work. My boss was there and sat at the keyboard and pushed the advance arrow every time I nodded at him. Not the smoothest delivery.I kept asking if we could buy a clicker for the office, but being largely funded by the state of Illinois, there is absolutely no money to spare. [On top of that, we all have to take mandatory (unpaid) furlough days.]Next week, I am giving another PowerPoint presentation at a conference. I tried futilely for almost an hour to download a free clicker app for my iPhone (Windows-based computer). Finally, I searched on Amazon and found this one for only $10.99--with great reviews, too. I ordered and it arrived in *one* day! Set-up was easy (I didn't even have to read the directions).Yesterday I practiced and perfected my PowerPoint and feel ready for the conference. This gadget was well worth the money. The only negative thing about this clicker: my boss saw mine and asked me to order one for him (he doesn't do Amazon). I did and he handed gave me a $10 bill--said he'd give me the dollar later--yeah...right....

Just What I Wanted
Easy to install and use. I'm a Google Slides girl, and I've had no problems at all! I do many presentations a month, and love not being tied to my computer.
