This insole is even more comfortable than the original ones that came in my shoes.

They do absorb and retain heat from foot (because of the gel), havent tried them in summer yet, but I will see how much hotter they are from the standard ones that come with the boot

I had to trim a tiny part off the toe-end of the insert to end up with a perfect fit. I just ordered a second pair for my other 8-year old Keen shoes.

The insole is great, the primary feature for me is the flexible arch support. i wear them in keen boots. They are very expensive and the material only lasts about 6 month's. However I work 10 hour shifts on my feet all day with steel toe boots. This is my 5th pair. I have not found any other insole that fits and flex's the same way.
