Had this for 18 months, installed in a QNAP, running predominantly as a music server and picture/data backup repository - used daily for a couple of hours, not continuouslyNo problems encountered so far.Disks spin quietly, no alerts/errors.Takes a few seconds for them to spin up to speed from standby, but dont know whether that is the QNAP or the wireless that introduces the delay.Very pleased with them

Severely overpriced item

I connected this drive to ubuntu 10.04 LTS as a secondary storage drive without a single issue. It just works!
