A good relaxer

Good product unless you have gray hair. It will turn your gray hair a brassy yellow.

I decided to relax my 4c curly after 17 years. I did the top portion with African Pride and the back with Dark and Lovely. The Dark and Lovely tore my hair up and it looked like it was never touched.The African Pride had my hair on fleeeeeeek….I ended up buying two more boxes for my entire head!I will never use another relaxer product as long as this one is available!

I am relaxing my hair for the first time in nearly four years. I bought this because I couldn't find relaxer in my local grocery store to get it delivered. I was expecting the kit to be complete. It's not. I can't use it until I get a plastic bowl to put the relaxer and activator in. It's just the relaxer, activator, neutralizing shampoo, and leave in conditioner. They're all in plastic flexible tubes. Know you're going to need to have a bowl you don't mind throwing away to use this kit. You also need your own conditioner after the neutralizing shampoo. I'm going to cut my hair off again when it gets warm again anyway. I just needed something to do with my hair as it grows too long to keep in a fro. I wouldn't have purchased this if I knew it's not a full touch up kit.

I have done the gambit of all relaxers from my first Dark&Lovely, TCB, Africa's Best, Ors- Olive oil, to Soft and Beautiful. Each has something i love about it...D&L...have a protein conditioner I love, works well with my hair.But I keep forgetting African Pride-Olive Mriacle, really works well with my hair.I bought the one just for the roots.(TOUCH UP ONLY...IT SAYS IT ON THE BOTTOM RIGHT HAND CORNER OF THE BOX, YOU HAVE TO MIX IT AND NO IT DOES NOT COME WITH A MIXING BOWL...YOUR NOT DOING YOUR WHOLE HAIR) JUST THE ROOTS.
