KlubKool Dashiki Shirt Tribal African Caftan Boho Unisex Top Shirt

I wore this at one of my gigs. This type of shirt is so comfortable to play drums. Anyway, people were coming up to me while I was playing asking me where I bought it. I told them to come see me on break.... I know, some people! My first break, there were 4 guys and a woman (non friends) asking me about this shirt. I gladly took out my thick and heavy phone and showed them. They were so happy that one guy bought me dinner and I was given a couple beers. Someone came up wearing the exact same shirt. I looked at him, pointed my finger and said, "Amazon"? He gave me the poop eating grin saying yes. People thought we were related. C'mon people, we looked nothing alike. We stood and posed for a couple of pictures. I was late returning to the gig. My band was angry with me. I shrugged my shoulders and mumbled something that I wish not to share with you here. Anyway the night ended great, except for the drunk guy that tried to rip it off me. The thickness of the shirt kept it intact.

Oh I really I like to dashikis because of the colors when they made the old ones they didn't have pockets or nothing on them like these that's what, I bought three of them that's why I bought three of them

I liked everything about it except it could be more wrinkle resistant

We've been wearing dashiki tops for decades, and have tried quite a few brands. These ones, from KlubKool, were average quality. The cotton is rougher than some other brands we've tried (also available on Amazon) such as Lofbaz or Raan Pah Muang; that said, the material might well soften with washing over time. It is also a bit thinner than some of the other cottons, but not as thin as some we've found while travelling in some touristy locations.We ordered 7 tops in various colours, all in size XXXL (3XL), and found them to be quite consistent for chest size at 29-30 inches, with 5 being 29.5 inches, and the other two being a half inch smaller or larger. This was not a big deal.That said, we did return two of the tops because of the pockets. Dashiki tops are noted for having large, DEEP pockets. Good quality tops will have pockets seven to eight inches deep. Of the 7 tops we ordered, two met that standard, and three only had pockets that were six inches deep -- okay, but not ideal. The remaining two tops, which we returned, had pockets under five inches deep, one being close to four inches deep. This is useless and anything put into the pockets will fall out as soon as someone bends over.It is hard to find the dashikis now in the larger sizes, so we were happy these did meet the measurements for chest size, but the useless pockets on two of them forced a return of those two.Another note: for some reason, when making the return, 4 of the 7 purchased were listed as not returnable -- this information was NOT on the purchase page, and the note stated to refer to Amazon's policy. Upon doing so, we noted that clothing shipped by, or fulfilled by, Amazon IS returnable up to 30 days after receipt. These tops DO fall into that category, so we can only conclude that the information on the returns page was in error. Fortunately the two we wanted to return were not in the list of those that were not returnable. However, given the items were fulfilled by Amazon, we would have appealed this annoying matter to Amazon had it been necessary.The listing needs to be revised to indicate that returns are possible, or to clearly state which of the colours are not returnable, so people do not purchase those ones without knowing the details.

Wish it had pockets.
